Nonsense. Dangote didn’t spend that much to get into competition with international oil refiners outside the shore of Nigeria.
Dangote refinery will save Nigeria’s economy and cement our dominance. Things like this shouldn’t even be up for discussion,it’s just common sense.

And once NNPC is done revitalizing their refineries amongst other private refinery coming on stream then dangote pms would be strictly for export- more enhancements of the naira. Pls be scared ,I completely understand.
I think the RIP guy should be ignored at this point concerning the refinery thing. His arguments have become stupid.

I'm now convinced Kenyans don't want any African country to progress other than theirs.
Only Kenyans (in this thread) argue with Ghanaians, South Africans, and Tanzanians grin

Lol are you just aware. It’s appears you are knew here. Don’t worry stick around, you would soon get acquainted with the envious and dark terrains of this thread.

No it's not the same. Your inflation rate makes everything impossible to afford in the zoo. The price of goods change every few days or hours in Ghana.

Fresh fish business is gradually returning to its peak in Maiduguri following progress made in decimating Boko Haram terrorists and restoration of relative peace across the state.

Hundreds of traders, including wholesalers and retailers, have engaged in the supply of fresh, smoked and dry fish from the fishing communities in Baga where local fishermen supply to the wholesalers in Maiduguri and other major towns and cities in the state.

Not it's almost half the price. Normally about 5-6 dollars in kenya. 10 dollars in Nigeria.

I thought you liked using unofficial rate for Nigeria's economy? A bag of cement in Nigeria is#4000. Divide#4000 by #700. That's $5.7. In Kenya a bag of cement is $5+.

Basically it's the same price. wink

You cannot stand criticism. That is why you hate SuffferingNSmilling. You want to live in a make-believe bubble. Dangote is likely to make the bad situation worse. In kenya we had a refinery that was making things terrible....but now imagine Dangote who has captured Abuja...selling you refined fuel at twice the international prize..because he will be "saving" forex.

When dangote donates millions of dollars to campaign funds u think he is doing that cause his middle name is Charity? NO! He is doing that to secure his monopoly on cement and other products.

Kenya gov under Ruto begin the painful 3B dollars immediate budget haircut to avoid Ghana like IMF mess smiley or Zambia default. Cutting the 3B dollars will reduce by 1/3 the deficit (roughly 9B dollars) of this year budget - which is equivalent to the external borrowing (which anyway is now unavailable) for may countries.

I'm not sure if this is selective glaucoma or cognitive decline.
How desperate are you to post UN 2004 data - which doesn't even conduct door to door survey? Are you okay in your head?

Lemme tickle your small petty brain:
In 2004, Nigeria was having 80% slum rate ~ UN.
In 2005, Nigeria was sailing at 66%(that is just 70) while Kenya was not at a good place either in an extreme 55%. ~ world bank.
In the current year, 2022, Nigeria has surpassed the abnormal mark, with her 150million population rotting in slums, PATHETIC!

How is that an excuse? Why are these sons of homo hobbitus this desperate and hopeless?
How can you compare 2004 data vs 2022
Or, UN vs world bank?

UN has once claimed the kibera population to be 2m --- then 1m --- then 6m... Those three were all strategies by Kenyans to get more donations and funds. These people don't do research. You can only be obtuse to dignify his post with such a dopey comment. Not even Nigerians liked his post, but a short dumb pygmy did, smh!

Buhari has spent billions of dollars already for the purchase of more air equipments and these things take time after ordering.

This is what we call progress.
1st pic - March 2022
2nd pic - October 2022.

Key takeaways:
Construction pace in Kenya is at a break necking speed.
Nairobi of Today is not Nairobi of yesterday.
88condominium <opposite prism> was 24fls in March, 5months down the line, it's 48floors - Amazing! Unlike Azuri or other skyscrapers in Nigeria that took 20yrs to top up, Kenya is only taking a year to finish 45fls+.
Despite all the activities that involve concrete, we have managed to maintain beauty and greenery.

Get a grip of yourself. Dangote refinery is the best thing to happen after slice bread. It’s won’t only save the forex but also the Nigeria economy and would have a significant effect in strengthening the west African market/economy. It’s is a key player in unlocking Africa’s fortunes.

Would we want more dangote? Hell yeah we would.
Would you die to have your self some dangote refinery and in your zoo? Freaking yes, it’s something you low-key wish for.

The more you try to downplay it the more desperate, bitter and jealous you sound. Get a grip of yourself and nurse. It’s those Nigerians that can’t see through you I blame, hence they would’ve kill that idea and desire in them - the one that makes them think they could ever have a sane argument with you devoid of hate and envy. Go on your kneees abd pray for your own dangote, your heckling and tantrums sucks- it’s music to my ears seeing how scared you are already for the future.

Get a grip of yourself sally, there is nothing to compare here with your zoo.
Just pray for construction and stop piggybacking on your past. Investors have stayed away with their monies. Once this ugly structure is completed, you will be lucky to get even a 15flrs construction unlike your suppose counterpart LAGOS.

If I couldn't stand criticism why am I still engaging you in spite of your numerous bloopers, improprieties and total lack of etiquette? I would never be caught dead quoting idiots like the suffering man, gallipig, the transgendered and others like them. Why? The only thing they do well is insult, not to talk of their parochial and childish attitudes. You can't learn nada from what they post. That's not criticism, that's just pure fault-finding. Sensible people ignore such animals.

Having said this, the Dangote refinery is not what you wish it to be. You wish Kenya had something like that, I'm sure. That's why you keep attacking a project that has been taunted as a panacea to Nigeria's fuel problems. We will be able to stop importation of petroleum products and jobs will be created. There will be multiplier effects too. Then forex will be saved. We will no longer have queues at filling stations, I can go on and on. What about exports? The benefits are many. Just look at it with an open mind. At least we believe you are smarter than the types of suffering man and gallipig. wink
