Theflint1: Some of us have taken Tinubu and Atiku as they are. Thieves who have nothing good to offer apart from lining their pockets and that of their cronies Problem starts when you guys start putting out Obi as a saint and saviour coming to rescue our nation. What we are telling you is that we can see through his lies and pretence. He is not different from the others you guys love to vilify. He is cut from the same cloth. By the way, why have I not seen Obis children leading all these 1m matches for Obi. Let me guess, his children are safely tucked in London while people are fooling themselves walking several kilometers in the sun for him. So much for him being different. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

liveLongNprospa: Do you see me talking about it anymore? I only came here yesterday because that interview was fresh, and i wanted DonJ to answer it, but as usual, he hasnt. Some of us are not only tired of the country. We just dont want the same mistake of 2015. Its quite unfortunate it may happen |

nihilistjnr: Even the NASS salary itself will do shit in comparison. The National Assembly budget including everyone working there and their capital expenditure is around 125bn annually. It's not even up to half of what ASUU is asking for as salary increase. |

I get you bro, I do...our options are not ideal, and they've never been ideal, but at the end of the day, we need to choose and choose right. I'm sure if you ask the average American who their ideal president should be they won't choose Biden or Trump, but Biden and Trump were who they had and they made a choice between both. Peter Obi is not an ideal candidate, but the contest is not between Peter Obi and our ideal candidate, it's between Peter Obi, Tinubu, and Atiku. You can't say because you're not getting the ideal then fork it, you'd go with the very worst of the three candidates. liveLongNprospa: 3 Likes |

izzou:Those that made the mistake of 2015 are the ones that know why they decided to choose an ex-dictator/coupist that was obviously not well and clearly bereft of ideas. Buhari of 2015 looked stronger than Tinubu of 2022. We don't have ideal choices, our job is to make the best choice from the unideal choices in front of us. |

izzou: If the same mistake happens again, it should not surprise you or affect you if you believe the country is irredeemably fvcked. Infact I expect that you should live your life without expecting the government to get better . Unless you are saying you care about this election and you have hope for Nigeria 3 Likes |

larride: Nah I get that completely. I just wanted to address the DickJockey's claims that cutting NASS salaries was a simple matter for the president. I think it's become apparent to everyone that the Obidolts are having a tough time rationalising the vision of an Obi presidency against the reality on ground. I'm now beginning to see comments like "don't talk to them again" or "I'm only answering ezzou" because you have to suspend logic to believe anything Obi says, and it's getting harder and harder for them to actually defend his inanities without having to insert their own spins on his utterances Itsrm: Point. Blank. Period GloriousGbola: I'm not sure I'd go as far as calling him a Trump. That guy was actually on a different level. Or Obi ensured he imposed his will even after leaving office.. Yunno what just show me were Obi stole money from anambra state? And as for the talk about his children.. Wetin concern me abi are you looking for straws to clutch.. You talk about been realistic yet your points show how childish you are. Wtf is the point about his children.. Theflint1: Obi is the worst option in this scenario, because assuming he wins the presidential election, whilst labour party flops (as can be reasonably expected) at all other levels, what then? What next? How does a minority party President form a government? From what party does he appoint Ministers? How does he pass a budget through Senate? How does sponsor any bills effectively? Would you expect the President to focus more time on growing his party(which he would need to do) than fixing the country? How does he deal with opposition Governors? How is he not a Lame Duck? |

It is our time The wide eyed callow youths whose first introduction to politics was end sars and its after math and who have an ax to grind with the government over this The unicorn hunters who have somehow fixated on Peter obi to ride in on his charger, wave a magic wand and solve Nigerias problems just like that. 2 Likes |

liveLongNprospa: You keep doing a fantastic job brother. On my part, I deliberately ignored izzuo because I already knew the agenda he was coming with and I saw myself coming hard on him and decided to ignore. In Obi, you are looking for the 10\10 perfect candidate. You turn on your brightest light to see the stain. Yet you're blind to the others. First of all, obi is the best of the Three. That has already been established. Maybe it's a good thing the focus is solely on him for this reason. Secondly, what makes people think that the masses who are voting Obi will also not vote in LP nass members? What makes you think that the Obi tornado will not also sweep in new LP senators and reps like Buhari's CPC did? I know that abia, Anambra and imo will definitely have lp senators because people like victor umeh, val ozigbo, Alex otti are gaining strongholds all over. It's not illogical to think that LP will have at the very least 10 senators and 30 new reps in nass. With that caucus and the presidency, don't you think they have a good enough bargaining power? All these noises about Obi is foolishness. We keep saying, that the significance of Obi winning is even far more important than his ruling. Because Obi winning, will unravel a lot of things. 1st of all, a total change of leadership will always have a positive effect in the initial stages, secondly all politicians and masses will realize the power of the people and the masses when they have the will. Voting APC simply means business as usual. Voting LP means a new dawn and method of Nigerian and African politics. 5 Likes |

GloriousGbola: 80% of Okwute’s miscreants falls in this category, that’s why they hate Tinubu. Okwute inherited Tinubu’s enemies and that’s why Okwute’s miscreants hardly attack Atiku, Tinubu is their problem. That’s also why they’re not supporting Okwute based on achievements and record. Also why they keep proving political oldies right that they’re very clueless and amateurs every time they talk about politics. 2 Likes |

You've taken Atiku and Tinubu as thieves that have nothing to offer, so what then informs your support for Tinubu? You have the option of two thieves coming to rob you...both will rob you of every single possession you have, while one moves on after robbing you, the other will stay back to beat the hell outta you just for the fork of it. I'm sure you don't need any mental gymnastics to decide on which thief you want robbing you. As regards people propping Peter Obi as a savior, there are so many persons that maintain objectivity as regards Peter Obi and are well aware of his foibles...on this thread, I don't think you can count even three persons that prop Peter Obi as though he's a savior. Besides, I think your decision on who to vote should be based off how you've personally accessed a candidate, and not based on how other persons see/are excited by the candidate. As regards Peter Obi's children leading 1m march for him...I don't know how to respond to that, but is that now a criteria for choosing a president? Itsrm: 1 Like |

Nezzjnr: Don't mind the fools. I keep asking these questions. These people are feeding us this intense negative energy that nigeria will never work no matter what. We say NO to that. We choose to have hope in this country. We choose to believe that good leadership solves a large part of nigerias problem. In Peter Obi, we see a credible alternative. We see a man of relative integrity. We see a man who didn't embezzle gazillion dollars for himself with state wealth we see a man who didn't award himself billions of pensions. We see a man who didn't seek further personal aggrandizement by retiring in the Senate like other corrupt politicians do. We see a man who held a federal position and rejected the benefits that came with it. We see a man projecting the right imagery of what leadership should be. The shedding of the excess grandiosity of public office. The projection of simplicity. And the experience of an excellent and recognized leadership record. But these people just want to feel the need to be contrarian. I would have ignored all these, but I dread to think that they're are silent readers here whose opinions are shaped by the nonsenses and hopelessness these people keep emanating. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Itsrm: You keep dishing out surprisingly stupid arguments. Like, it's now a daily occurrence. The 2 other candidates themselves barely are available for their own campaigns. They spend the most of their time in foreign countries. Relying on their foolish propagandist to spreading graphic designers up and down the internet while they chill. Again, I'm not even talking of their children, I'm talking of the candidates, but in Obi, you want his entire family members to be involved, when that's the very thing we're campaigning against, the involvement of family in state politics. And furthermore, as a PDP boy you are, can you show me wike's children campaigning for him or atikus children campaigning for him. Hypocritical lots. 3 Likes |
