No hes referring to those attacking Igbos.

He referred to the lady as "foolish".

The point is that, if you attack some else tribe, they have the right to give it back to you in equal or more fold.

If you go low, we will go lower.
He’s was addressing the Igbo lady who caused everything, not those that responded.

I think at this point one needs to agree that Obi's presidency won't do much compared to others. Yeah there's the corrupt and sick Tinubu on the ballot and the corrupt Atiku that sold as many national assets for knockdown prices to his friends under the privitization scheme as VP.

But then Obi being surrounded by people like Doyin Okupe and Co will certainly find it difficult to fight the corruption institution we have in Naija. Obi may have the reputation for not having any corruption charges against him in the past nor have any major scandal that hovers around misappropriation of public funds, but having people of questionable character campaign for him ( and most likely end up with a place in his government) will certainly affect his government. The fact that he's not going to import people from another country to run the show but make use of EX-PDP members (who may pay lip service to his desire for new Nigeria, but deep down they want to have access to keep eating our yam) just weak person.

Just look at the mess on TwitterNg today.

An Igbo lady insulted Yoruba ladies (Something she has been doing consistently)

Yoruba ladies now replied her in full force Insulting her and her tribe, guess who they are calling tribalist on Twitter? The Yoruba ladies.

Just look at this screenshot. The person that insulted the whole tribe at first is "foolish" but those that now replied her back in same coin is who he is concerned about.

If you insult my tribe, I will insult you and your tribe back in double folds.
no you cannot do that.

When they insult your tribe, you have to play Jesus and preach to them so they can continue to call you coward.

They foment trouble, when you bring that trouble they can't handle, they form the victim and cry to unn and still stylishly foment more trouble in the process.

Just forget about corruption.
Like you said, no one is importing anyone to form his government.
For those saying new political class will solve corruption issues are both delusional and naive cheesy
For instance, Sowore who is always making noise, was found to have misappropriated his party funds, imagine putting him in a government parastatal that sees in flow of money (that can be stolen with little threats of being found out). Your guess is as good as mine.
Lack of opportunity should not be mistaken for virtue.
New people in government will not solve corruption wahala, but they may very well solve other issues, who knows.

Yeah, I agree with u much may not likely change as regards uprooting corruption in our system ; but if some progress can be made in other sectors Then maybe things can get better.

For example if we can get a system that believes in meritocracy and not a system that will retire all DIG's because they are mostly southerners and then promote AIG's to DIG's towards the end of an IG's tenure ( Just to pave way for appointment of a northern IG again), same happening in our armed forces like army, navy and airforce ; just maybe people will start believing in Nigeria and we won't have powerful Nigerians tacitly supporting separatist agenda.

I've seen Àtiku having his child name mentioned in those CBN recruited secretly even when they never announced vacancy, I've seem Tinubu over ruling the wishes of King makers and making his associates kings at different times ; I mean I've seen this nepotism being painted by the silky pen of their wordsmith as " He made them", "he rewards loyalty", etc...... These two certainly do not believe in meritocracy. I have little knowledge of Obi and what he did when he held power in Anambra but I've not seen his critics knock him for being like those mentioned earlier, they've not knocked him for favouring his own people over the good of the rest of the public.

So I understand when some youth who are neither easterner nor aggrieved members of PDP Stan him and prop him as being in good standing as against the two septugenarian on the ballot of APC and PDP

Zombiedients said Asiwaju didn't go to school, but Asiwaju tendered his BSc result to INEC, he graduated with Honours from Chicago State University. Zombiedients candidate could only tender his GCE result to INEC

Zombiedients want APC to be disorganise, but nah their mushroom party still dey disorganise.

Very good point made there @ the bolded. That's what we call gaslighting.

Suddenly, nepotism and godfatherism that should be disdained and condemned is rebranded as "he made men".

Wait till they tell you that this civil war account is false and only theirs is true.

They have never wronged anyone, they are the only ones who were wronged.
Their forces did not kill anyone, did not rape anyone, did not bomb anywhere

In July 1967 my old man escaped death by the whiskers ; Casino cinemas in Yaba was bombed that day in the wake of the war. He usually regale us of how his date not showing up on time saved him from being among the victims of the bombing.

I believe that bombing incident shaped the perception of south westerners about the war. Initially southwesterners felt like uninterested party in the war; I guess that incident changed a whole lot of things.

The Nigerian civil war is a very complex war that a whole lot of truths, half truths and falsities being peddled then and even some being mouthed till date.

Until all surviving actors in the war can come out, state their accounts, apologize where they need to and reconcile on their differences, Nigeria will continue to be a divided country

The bombings might have been an added factor but the main reason for the SW diving fully into the war effort was the attack on Ore in Ondo State by Biafran forces.

We still have to have an honest conversation about the war. Admit our faults and move on as a people. If humanity chose to hold on to past grudges or conflicts then nobody would ever progress. Europeans and Asians have murdered and massacred each other over the past hundreds of year but today they do business with each other.

Even a disintegrated Nigeria with each of the component parts going their own way would still have to do business and be on good terms with each other.

Wait small the usual suspects will tell you it's a lie. The war, the events leading to the war. They are the only victims. The people they attacked and killed were acts of love

You are a fool!!

Tell me something, why are me and you as individuals talking about the war? Were we alive then??50 years ago. Are we supposed to carry the burden of what our parents did that caused soo much harm to themselves?

And is it not this same war where igbos suffered the highest casualties 3 million of it's people dead? So if they've moved on evidenced by their mass migration to all parts of the country, why shouldn't we?

Whatever happened in the past should remain there. That's my opinion. Since the war, igbos and yorubas have a special relationship.

They have the highest intertribal marriage in Nigeria. I personally have SEVERAL Yoruba relatives.

Why you're seeing me point out these numerous points of tribalism is because it's now evident that the Tinubu camp which happens to be the most influential leadership camp in Yoruba land is now hell bent on using tribal instruments this war and because Nigerians (not only igbos) have rejected him soundly, the only way to rally his people behind him is by using divisive tribal rhetorics.
