Turkey adopts a law that allows imprisonment of social network users and journalists for spreading "disinformation".

Users who disseminate "disinformation" will face a prison sentence of between one and three years. That sentence can be increased by half for owners of anonymous social media accounts.

This is a trick to move the residents into Russia. Another form of deportation...

I read that minimum wage in Russia is around $200 a month despite being an oil rich nation. That's low.

If the minimum wage in Russia is $200. Then most Russians are supposed to be homeless by now. Accomodation in Moscow alone is around $200 dollar or more in a month.

Unfortunately, there are no homeless people in Russia. Although, average wages in Russia is very low compare to the West. But their standard of living is almost the same. Average wages in Moscow and St Petersburg is around $800. But PMS, gas (well subsidised) and grain (and other agricultural products)) are extremely cheap compare to the West. In fact the Govt subsidised almost everything in Russia except accomodation in the major cities like Moscow , St Petersburg and Krasnodor.

It is mostly true. Most of the private companies were nationalized in the past and sold to Putin's friend who became the oligarchs as we know it. Gazprom is one of such assets. When the government is dissatisfied, they take out some of these oligarchs. About 5 Gazprom execs have died mysteriously this year alone. grin

they have never been a match even a day. that's the reason they are always bragging about nuclear weapons. but that weapon will also fail them . our concern is china.
I believe the country that poses more threats to the US is Russia, militarily. China on the other hand pose more threat to the US economically. Russia is the only anti-west country in the world that can challenge the US and without fear, openly send military support to any country invaded by US or a country with which the US is fighting a proxy. China, India, Iran, North Korea don't have the balls to challenge USA that was why the US had to trap Russia down first. China should get prepared as the US is planning to make it a pariah and Taiwan will be another Ukraine.

apart from nuclear bomb I don't see anything else Russia will use against USA. Their army strength has greatly deminished. china though not too par with USA will be a difficult nut to crack. They have also for decade been modernizing their military

Even when this results in a nuclear war, the damage that would be inflicted on western nations will be less. Russia will end within 24 hours. Imagine USA, France, Germany sending nukes at the same time to Russia. It will be a total disaster for Russia.

China would be tough but they can be taken down easier than Russia. The US is trying to eliminate the growing influence and significance of Russia and China. Look at it this way, the influence of Russia is been tackled, this is proven by the votes in the UN. Its significance has been reduced when Europe rejects its gas.

The world will surely get used to surviving without Russian fuel and gas and that's the goal of the US.

This oligarchy thing that is being bandied as a Russian thing is so wrong.

The Russian business men and billionaires have barely little to no say in the control of govt. If anything, those guys are in the firm grip of FSB and FSB controls them mostly.

The country where oligarchy exists is the USA , because it is the business men and billionaires there that control the govt and decide on what policies they should pass. They disguise it as lobbying grin

In summary, Contrary to what the western media tells you, the west is being control by powerful oligarchs, but Russia is not.

The plan has always been to diminish Russia's military capability and the Ukrainian debacle is the closest shot USA got in so many years. By the time this war is over, Russia military sphere would have been seriously curtailed. I doubt they will ever be the same again. This same tactics was used to dismantle USSR and I am so surprised Putin fell for it.

In summary, Contrary to what the western media tells you, the west is being control by powerful oligarchs, but Russia is not.

The USA system is rather monopolistic and not Oligarchy as we know it. In the US, creativity can make you a monopolist, coveting an area of service or industry. We say Oligarchy because those Russian rich men were created by the government for the government through proxies and friends. That's why the FSB can take them out if they fall out of line with the government agenda. In China, they seem to combine both monopoly and Oligarchy together. You must be friends with the government to avoid corruption allegations. Take Jack Ma, for example, his wings were clipped for talking against Xi Jin Ping's government with a serious crackdown on his business.

Putin says Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) - intergovernmental organization in Eastern Europe and Asia - must strive to find way OUT of current situation, and Russia has sincerely sought to RESOLVE any conflicts despite FALSE statements of Western leaders.

Putin is meeting with CIS leaders in Kazakhstan SUMMIT, where he has invited leaders to St. Petersburg, West Russia, before end of 2022, as city will become CULTURAL CAPITAL of CIS.
