Vawulence everywhere if you think your a good trader and you want people to trust you to pass prop firm challenge or their hard earned money simply drop 5 signals for the group to know your accuracy while we execute your signals on demo account violence shouldn't come first

I no suppose hard pass that level. Im suppose drop his myfxbook records - that is the way serious investors will consider him. In addition to this, i know some prop firms have audits, let him show the records of the trade audits. That is how he will get the type of investors he is looking for - showing vawulence on the thread won't give him shishi.

I’m not a sir yet. It’s sell side Inefficiency and buy side imbalance.

The big drop is sell side which was an inefficient drop in price. It would most likely be filled and acts as a magnet to price.

The up candle that follows is the buy side imbalance which tries to balance the drop but taking into consideration the trend which is bearish so it has to drop again to balance the up candle to offer buy side and sell side.

I’m sorry if this is much but it’s the least I could break it down. Maybe Richgen, Karkinase or Charly may have a better explanation because I see they use ICT’s concepts.

Just do your analysis with daily TF upwards and follow the trend, news no go shake you.

But unannounced interventions by apex banks, like what BOE did recently, would destroy any technical analysis.

In summary, I have learnt that it is good to be aware of news because of the volatility it brings but relying on it to drive market beyond key support n resistance areas will not always work out as planned. Markets are more irrational than anyone thinks.

I no dey like talk too much on these things because everyone has their different perspective to seeing the markets there's no right or wrong way apparently.

Some people will say market makes mistakes I'm looking out to make profit by Betting on those mistakes. Some will say i invest my money based on the value of this thing. Some will say it has been doing a particular way for a while now it's time for it to go another way. Some simply do arbitrage E..t.c

What i believe is that no big financial firm, investment bank, hedge fund is looking at Fibonacci retracement or all those harami or bullish engulfing or bullish gartley or butterfly or order blocks bla bla before entering a trade or placing an investment. Na only us bottom of food chain retailers dey try give names to all these things to make sense of a market we have zero influence on.

And yes it works because what these big dogs do leave a pattern on price movement, we spot these patterns and try to replicate them hence we call it technical analysis.

And to the bolded. Trust me there's nothing like support and resistance when an economic data comes out. Those ones wey respect am just happen because dem dun dey price am in earlier.

Over a period of time different economic data have different importance there was a time US retail sales was doing massive pips movements, same with aud & nzd cpi...my boss asin. first thing market open on Sunday night men go dey house dey down drinks with nice hot shawties dey trade NZD cpi making mad returns.... It is what it is.

But based on current siituations the big dogs don't pay attention to it.

Fundamentals is dynamic.

I love this … fundamentals is really dynamic and the big boys(smart money) usually leave a pattern which will follow.. Fundamentals are just manipulative tools for big players to move their orders.. grab liquidity(hunt stop losses) rebalance and either move the market up or down based on demand and supply.

Huh?
Fundamentals are what drive the market
Anyone that has been following economic news should know every pair against the dollar would crash.

Trade am like that on Monday. Your acct fit likely see red instead of blue. I no easy like that - we all know say we dey recession. There will always be bear market rallies in a recession that can yield good profit. These rallies are caused by institutions taking profit at certain levels.
If person be day trader/ a scalper, I go talk am again - news only influences volatility and not your intraday direction. After every three -five bearish days, there is a pullback due to people taking profit. If person dey operate with the mindset that everyday is bearish because we are in recession, that person go just donate money to the market.
News and fundamental trading will favour weekly and monthly traders (long term swing traders) more than day traders.
That said, Market will not be in a downtrend for two straight days with full bearish trend bars and news will cause one bar to violate the two previous highs. As Confidence interval
in statistics is 0.95, I will say that 95/100 times it can't happen. I mentioned this when boss karkinase suggested GBPUSD will be in downtrend and I countered by saying that it will be in a range.. So relying on it to happen for you to get a 1:2 risk-reward ratio will lose you money 95 times and win you money 5 times at best- is it worth it?

this fundament and technical analysis debate has been here from time immemorial.. and it will be here long after us.. ain't you people tired of this debate?
for those who studied physics, technical and fundamental analysis debate is like the debate between, Einstein's General relativity theory and Quantum mechanics theory.. the two theories gives accurate propositions on how the universe works, but when tried on a certain conditions, it faild.
general relativity is very good at explaining the universe as a whole entity, but when you try to examine the general relativity theory on subatomic level, it faild.
same way quantum mechanics theory is good at explaining the universe in subatomic level, but when used to study the universe as a whole entity, it failed
so, individually, both are good, but both still need each other if its to explain the nature of our universe both in subatomic level and and as whole entity..
the point am trying to make is that both fundamental analysis and technical analysis are good. but individually, they cant interpret the market in all ramifications..for us to have clear interpretation of the market, we have to make use of the both of them.it's like a two sides puzzle.
both need to be accurately used to get a clear picture of the market... know this and know peace..

Boss, you've said it all. Even person wey no too understand physics suppose grasp your analogy. The summary of what I was saying is your style of trading is what will determine your success in relying on fundamental analysis and more often than not, weekly and monthly traders will do better in using it because they don't have to deal with the intraday 'noise' like boss elliotwaveforrec dey call am.
