Owerriboi:
Stop deceiving yourself. Imo state has the lowest GDP in southern Nigeria, while Anambra is the fourth largest GDP in Nigeria. See the official Gazetted report by the NBS. Also look at the poverty ranking. Commonsense should tell you that imo is a poor state. You don't claim you have high GDP by mouth, but it is by content. Please mention what you have in imo state, almost nothing. The biggest economic activity in imo state is commercial sex hawking, is that where you got the GDP?

You are full idiot Chino. I know you’re so pained to see Imo topple Anambra. You’re using an old figure to make comparisms when Budgit, a reputable research organization has brought its latest ranking, because it doesn’t Favour your useless ego, doesn’t make the statistics a lie.
Till thy Kingdom come, Owerri will always be the richest state in the southeast and fifth richest country in Nigeria. Know that and know peace

I am not yabbing imo but I am saying the truth even though I am from imo state. Imo state is a poor state with poor people. Anambra is the economic power house of the eastern Nigeria. GDP of Nnewi alone is bigger than entire imo state. See the authentic GDP as released by NBS, Anambra is competing with states like Lagos and Rivers State not a village like imo

You’re just a bullshit talker, Budgit has just released the latest figures confirming Imo state to be the fourth richest state in Nigeria and you’re debating, who are you to debate that?
Even the NBS you’re talking about relies on Budgit’s stat when making their comprehensive report.
And for the record, I’m from Anambra state in Adazi Nnukwu, Imo tops the chart above anambra and that’s the truth. Your ranting can’t change that

Stop crying I am from imo. I am not pained because I know that imo state is far below Anambra.

If you like cry from now till eternity, Imo state will continue to be a backward useless worthless shithole state littered with dilapidated roads, filthy environment, poverty, ipob terrorists, under development, etc.

GDP of imo state is on the same level with Ekiti State. Also compare the poverty ranking. Imo state is cursed

I am stating the fact and you know that's why you are pained. I am from Mvaise in imo state and I cannot lie because of ediots like you.

Imo state is the poorest state in southern Nigeria, so how do you justify the fake report by budgit? Onye nzuzu.

In your silly mind is it possible for Ebonyi to have bigger GDP than enugu state. That's the report you are taking seriously.

A typical African man has this forbia to anything good, they just want to spoil it, how can somebody park a car on those lawns that took months to grow, they will soon kill it and turn it to dusty draught place as usual. They should be arrested and give a fine cos that place is not a parking space.

Everywhere on the entire cyberspace has Imo indigenes complaining about the cursed backward useless worthless shithole imo state that's ravaged by dilapidated roads, filth, insecurity, ipob terrorists, bad governance, etc, one will begin to question what exactly did Okoroawusa, Ihedioha, Ohakim and Uzodinjo were doing all these years.

Till date Imo state is still a dungeon of dilapidated roads. Owerri ICC has collapsed, Imo airport is a mere motorpark, almost all the roads in Owerri are dilapidated.

Conversely, Anambra now has a standard international airport that serves Anambra and entire Eastern Nigeria. Anambra has the best and biggest ICC in Awka, Anambra has the best roads and keep getting better everyday unlike the retrogressive backward useless imo state that kept getting worse.

The whole of Imo State is in ruins right now as everywhere is like a war torn zone. No wonder millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra for greener pasture. Imo state is cursed

Anambra under APGA since 2003 has been developing Anambra that's why millions of imo indigenes are trooping to Anambra for greener pasture whereas you can never find one Anambra indigene living anywhere in imo state. It is a shame that since 1999 till date imo is yet to have a governor except 419 kingpins, fraudsters, etc. Hope Ozodigmgba is a bleeped up drunkard and a bleaching bastard. Imo state is damned

PHOTOS: Imo Community Sole Access Road Taken Over By Flood

The Assa community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area, Imo State, is at risk of being cut off after floods took over the road.

A Facebook user, who raised the alarm about the deplorable state of the road, lamented its effect on the citizens.

The Facebook user, Okwubaegonkeabuo shared photos of the road on Saturday and said, “The only access road that connects Assa, the oil rich community in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State to the state capital, Owerri is in critical state of disrepair and comatose.

"The community have been impoverished due to lack of sincerity, empathy and corporate social responsibility from the side of the multi-national oil companies operating in the community. Even with the large quantities of crude oil and gas exploration accruing from this community on daily basis, the community have nothing to be proud of.”

This is Orlu, the 2nd largest city in Imo state. Nearly 99% of the streets of Orlu are like this.
No saner person would be happy celebrating the well paved streets of Owerri while the streets of Orlu in his/her state are like this.

I was actually in Orlu town few weeks back visited IMSUTH, and some other places in nkwerre, the Orlu town urban roads are not that bad just need re surfacing, saw new developments surprisingly Umuna Orlu now has a new UBA bank branch. Most of the stuff written in the social media are exaggerated.

The Orlu I visited is not bad rather bustling with activities and increasing population density. I urge the state government to do resurface Orlu town road. Actually I didn't see this spot you uploaded though.

May Imo state continue to win and prevail.

Obiano performed better than all the governors that have ruled imo state put together. Ohakim was a smelling filthy frauders. Okorocha was a one-legged smelling thief that looted imo state and left it a mess. Uzodinma is a fucking bleaching useless 419 kingpin. All the roads in imo state are dilapidated. All the governors in imo failed woefully as governors.

Uzodinma's House in his village has been bombed by terrorists. Insecurity in imo state is so much, that millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra for safety.
