In this particular situation, building the dam would have helped mitigate the flooding being experienced, the government of Cameroon claims there is a dam construction project that was to involve Nigeria and Cameroon, they did their part but Nigeria failed to do their part.

So how will you tell them to stop using free trees and start using other fuels that are relatively expensive. You are poor you manage get food, to get firewood to cook it and someone comes with climate change bla bla bla. . To you at that point that is a rich man problem

Which is why Tinubu is telling the west unless they give us money or support us financially we are not in a position to start combating climate change
