I don't assume reforestation will be easy, but I know it's for sure possible. Abuja is one of the greenest cities in Nigeria, if it can be done in Abuja, then it can be done at a larger scale.

Also, there are ways to involve citizens and even the private sector in reforestation efforts. Each year we assign NYSC grads to obsolete CDS groups like Road safety in communities where there's little to no need for such CDS groups. Citizens can be encouraged to plant trees and as I said before, the private sector can be brought on board these things whether to provide paid services or as part of their co-operate social responsibility.

With a prudent man (Peter Obi) in charge, we won't have to spend as much as you imagine. I don't know why you guys are bringing this West thing into it, but it's funny to see. The person that asked Tinubu the question was asking him that question assuming he was in the know of the effects of climate change/desertification as is being experienced in Kaduna and several northern states presently, not knowing that man was going to pour out crammed nonsense, whether it was the answer to the question or not.

There are different aspects of climate change. The aspect of climate change that bothers someone in Kaduna isn't what would bother someone in New York or Japan.
