The Myth Of Studying In The UK. by timesupreloaded: 7:39am On Oct 19, 2022 |
Nigerians paying between £11,000 to £15,000 to study in the UK are wasting their money. This new day slavery has to stop. When they get to the UK. they find out that 90% of Britons can't even afford to pay out of their pocket. UK. citizens access loans to be able to study. If you tell white UK. citizens to pay cash for their education over 90% of them will become illiterates because they don't have the money. Their parents too are unable to raise such amount for school. They are unable to raise the outrageous amount Nigerians happily pay to study there. After Nigerians complete their study there the only jobs available to them are menial jobs which barely pay the bills. What is even more alarming now is the the UK. government now allows you to bring your spouse and kids during the duration of your study. Your spouse will work round the clock to pay the bills while you are busy studying. This is to further drain the little amount you work and make sure you don't send money home. Their degrees are worthless. Many Nigerians who studied in UK and later found themselves in Canada and America are doing odd jobs. Nigeria has the best schools in the world. A graduate in Uniben can be compared to an Oxford graduate if not better but we have been programed to hate our own. After studying in the UK. you find out nothing has change and you didn't receive any new knowledge as their study is below par. That's why most Nigerians top their classes abroad. I would advise Nigerians to instead use the amount you intend to pay to a UK. school to set up and business and within the next 7 years you will become the new Dangote instead of being stucked in Canada or America doing odd jobs 51 Likes 2 Shares |

https://saharareporters.com/2022/10/18/welcome-united-kingdom-beyond-euphoria-japa-francisca-chiedu With over 90% visa success rate, the UK is now home to thousands of immigrants with a similar goal of switching from the 2-year graduate visa to a Tier 2 that leads to ILR after five years. BTW, a year after getting your ILR, you can apply for British Citizenship. It sounds easy, but it does not come easy. In 2012, those who got the 2yrs PSW visa had to do mass return to Nigeria. Others who went before them also did their mass return in Batches. Some cried. They felt depressed to return to the same Nigeria they have called names. It will happen again. That’s why I am sounding this note of warning to all those who think they have arrived. Stay humble and focused, and resist the urge to ridicule everything Naija 4 Likes |

Imagine paying 10million naira for tuition, not even adding the money for tickets for you, your spouse and kids and 10 years you have never seen that amount in your account working abroad. Any 10million naira investment you make today in Nigeria will give you a profit of 50,000naira daily after all expenses has been taken out. Nigerians really need to start thinking 29 Likes 5 Shares |

pasuma:Anybody who has the passion to run and business and understands the business from a tender age is guaranteed to successful. A secondary school boy who closes from school around 2pm and goes to a carpentry stores where he learns work will be able to manage a furniture business in the future when he sees money to invest. Most just get money and rush into any business that's why they fail. It is the same thing as rushing to UK to study after you see 15million in your account. It is doom to fail 23 Likes 3 Shares |

@op, UK never asked nigerians to come and study in their country. Nigerians go there because of the rotten education system we uave in Nigeria. ASUU has been on strike since February and you are here typing rubbish. We have millions of graduates roaming the streets of Nigeria doing nothing or menial jobs that's even worse than the ones in UK. Abeegiiii 14 Likes |

Op is making a lot of sense Just that Nigerians are generally scared of the country. That's why they hasten to jump ship at the first opportunity. But you're correct. We all need to learn to build businesses with patience and perseverance. 34 Likes 3 Shares |

izombie:But what's wrong with doing business? Doing business is good. You just need to take your time to learn the nitty gritty if the business before you jump in. Another thing is it's better to go for professional certifications than this foreign masters that end up giving you almost nothing in return 29 Likes 2 Shares |

An olodo in Nigeria will go to UK and top the class, despite coming out with 1st class, they'll still end up washing toilet in UK, better learn skills before u trave abroad instead of wasting millions on tuition 19 Likes 3 Shares |

izombie:Our educational system is not rotten. It is the best in the world. They are brainwashing you. I paid 5,000 naira to study in Uniben and in my area of study I am 100 times better than my harvard and yale counterpart. Funny I didn't even graduate. When I got to America I found out people earning $150,000 can't even pay college tuition for their children. Nigeria has the cheapest and best education 18 Likes 3 Shares |

tamdun:Just leave this people alone. On every street you go see duplex, six flats built by people here in Nigeria. They live inside those houses with their wives and kids, two to three cars, paying for good schools somewhere around. When this UK bound people are traveling they underestimate those things until they get to UK and try completing a building 15yrs after they left 10 Likes 2 Shares |

timesupreloaded: You were making sense until you got to this point. This is FALSE. You probably haven't done business in Nigeria before. There's a reason even middle-class people are running away from Nigeria. The challenges that impede you from making money in Nigeria by far outweigh factors that help you grow your business. Insecurity, unstable currency, fear of the unknown, Nigerians keep electing idiots, etc. Apparently, only crime and politics thrive in Nigeria. 12 Likes |
Re: The Myth Of Studying In The UK. by timesuploaded: 8:48am On Oct 19, 2022 |
SmartPolician:It is even near impossible to do business abroad. Majority of rich people abroad (America in this case) are also 'japaing", renouncing their citizens to go to a tax friendly country. How much tax do people pay for their businesses here in Nigeria compared to abroad? Most people don't even pay tax at all. N50,000 daily is nothing, it is the average. It will shock you that the major akara woman in your street and the best mama put restaurant in the next street makes between 15,000 to 20,000 naira profit daily. 50k is nothing 12 Likes |
