NLaob:"The Nobel Prize in economics for the speediest destruction of the national finance system should be awarded to Truss," Medvedev wrote on his Telegram channel. The UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) announced earlier that the inflation rate in the United Kingdom, fueled by surging food prices, rose to 10.1% year-on-year in September. In August the figure was 9.9%, the highest in 40 years. |

NLaob:Britain’s Central Bank stated earlier that the UK economy entered a recession. One of the most important cited facts was skyrocketing energy costs in the wake of the recent developments in Ukraine. The country’s GDP in the second quarter of this year dropped by 0.1% and a similar decline is expected based on the results of the third quarter. |

NLaob:The Kherson Region’s acting Governor Vladimir Saldo earlier explained that several districts on the right bank of the Dnieper River could be flooded, with flood waters rising about one meter high, should the dam of the Kakhovka hydropower plant be damaged. That is why the regional authorities were doing their utmost to help residents leave the area. He added that the left bank where the larger part of Kherson was situated could not be critically flooded due to its terrain. |

Gtovr:"Should the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant’s dam be blown up, the water supply to Crimea would stop," he said. "If the hydro power plant explodes, the North Crimean Canal would have no water for years to come, until the facility is rebuilt, and Crimea would be left without water, too," Leontyev added. |

NLaob: How is this not a war crimes Israel vs Egypt. Israel warned Egypt it would bomb Aswan dam if Egypt threatened Israel existence.Flood waters would wipe out many downstream including Cairo. Civilian targets that result in mass casualties are a no go zone. You can't bomb an ammonia plant and remain in good world standing. You can't bomb a nuclear reactor that's up and running. You can't detonate a nuclear device on the shores to cause a massive tsunami too. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
