Apart from david Cameron who spent six years being the prime minister, the last three(Theresa may, boris johnson and now Liz truss) has barely spent close to three years of there reign. How difficult it is to rule the uk: there already have everything working for them, a system that cub corruption, world class road and unique health care system. Cc Komekn |

jieta: This is the beauty of democracy. Truss was shambolic in her ineptitude, caused the pound £ to drop by over 15% to a level not seen in 30+ years. Cut taxes for the highest earners, etc and was essentially clueless. Add to that did a complete renegade on her election promises. As a consequence she lasted 44 days. Now compare that to our system PMB to describe him as shambolic, inept, incompetent, lawless ( no regard for the rule law ) is a gross understatement. But he has been in power albeit through a very dubious election process, for going to 8 years. How many Nigerian politicians and public officials if subjected to a British judiciary system would be in jail for corruption ❓in my estimation more than 55%. This is a democratic system that works we have democrazy with impunity not democracy. 4 Likes |

BascoVanVeli:I guess you didn't read the part he said someone told him that their players were betting on their matches and fixing games. Imagine Hugo Lloris saying something like this, do you think there would have been no investigation? What are you even defending? Are you working for the betting mafia ruining our football? Your take on this matter raises suspicion. Even the club owners have come out in black and white to indicte the league on "match integrity". You think they don't know what they are saying?

Barryseal:NPFL players involved in fixing matches,i disagree cos i followed the league passionately for more than 30 years with 20 years travelling watching league games across Nigeria.I had a break watching games live when i japa but still followed the league.I have strong relationships with many NPFL players and officials and i can say it anywhere match fixing in Nigeria does not involve players but team management and referees. In the very late 90s,Kwara United were topping the league but lost to Lobi bank at home, a overzeaous fan who i know personally invaded the pitch and others followed, the match ended abruptly.Kwara united home matches were moved from Ilorin to River state and from number one spot on the league table lost all their remaining matches and got relegated with the aid of officials fully supported by Dogo Yalbisu of NRA. Sir,pressing phone or happy after losing a league match doesn't relate to match fixing at all, even in Europe players go to club to flex with opposite players.I remeber Dwight York and Celestine Babayaro do hang out and do we say they are invove in match fixing. Dauda allegations lack truth cos it was damn watery. If he was really sincere he should have raised it before now not when his career has nosedive down. What i know about Nigeria league is that team management do all they could to buy refree over just to win a match, reason some clubs do win ther home matches but players invove in matcing fixing,My Oga NO o. |

Steven Gerrard sacked, not surprised and l could see it coming from a mile away. When Steven Gerrard got the Rangers job he took with him Michael Beale. He actually is the brains behind all the success. He was actually the head of U12 development at Liverpool FC, when Steve was coaching the U18's. Beale was once the asst. Manager at Sao Paulo in . Brazil. He really knows his stuff. Beale has gone to Manage QPR and with few resources he is sitting top of the Championship and still playing good quality football. He has given a new lease of life to Balogun as well as once very promising Tottenham midfielder Luke Amos who has suffered two cruciate ligament injuries. 1 Like |
