Confusing title and subject. The Punch article didn't name any lost customers. Supplies of energy from Russia to Western European countries has been cut so they are scrambling to find sources of energy to keep warm this winter. Some EU countries are loading up on firewood, and wood burning stoves are in high demand. The U.S. has tapped into their strategic supply of crude to help out. Tesla and EV autos are charged from the electrical grid which is supplied by fossil fuels. Plus Elon Musk recently changed political parties so he may no longer be receiving generous tax subsidies from the Biden administration and the US Congress. And other auto manufacturers, including Chinese are gearing up to give Tesla stiff completion.

Naija oil analysis always sound so bleeping bleep in trying sound intelligent in talking about this down stream or whatever stream nonsense. cheesy

Its just a matter of time. Alternative energy is taking center stage. 2 decades from now, the ball game will change drastically.

If you consider how much is been invested into alternative energy, you should know the world is on the verge of diversifying....

Look at automobile industry, how many electric cars were you seeing on the roads 10 years ago compared to now?

That should tell you a lot!

Get the point bro, 2 decades is lots of years ahead, do you know what change that will cost us? No matter how useless the govt will be,
it will be 3 different individual with diff idealogy but for now we have oil market he should make good use of it and stop talking bullshit.

This is what reasonable people also feel about it

The thing about two-faced psychophants. With one side of their tongue, the exalt. With the other, they mutilate.

The same Peter Obi that was saintly became a monster as he declared his presidential ambition.

The same Seun Osewa you saw as unreasonable because he was against an unfit Tinubu's candidacy is now reasonable because of Agbado.

Inside Life.

As sweet as Nigeria’s crude is renowned to be globally, we have recently lost our most valued customers and our gas buyers are themselves now competing with us in the same market place as suppliers

Funny corrupt statement. The real statement is You lost the paying customers coz the customers are getting it for free and govt officials are the collaborators.

No responsible govt. makes this sort of statement to a people already concerned about the burden of debt they are continuously piling on the nation! A sensible govt. presents oncoming issues with an actionable plan for solution. By speaking so foolishly to the public what does he now want us to do, make we cry go meet Buhari report??

What about garri?
What about other products that Agbado serve as raw materials too?

Have u ever eaten cassava n Agbado raw before?

One of the hallmarks of wisdom is to accept when you have lost the argument and shut up.

the amount of tax, human resources, innovation, commerce and service the south east produce in this country compared to it's size, allocation, location. You will have to grungly agreed that they are punching far far far above their weight.

Spoke reality!
This is perhaps the most truthful take by a minister in PMB's government on the ending days of crude oil as the major source of (commercial) fuel in the World.
#Bad news to those that wants Nigeria to remain one because of crude oil.

If Nigeria do what you ask......how will the north feed?
State who mjorly depends on Federal Allocation with their little IGR.

I think the north are well ready and prepared that’s why they have claimed and monopolized and managed their own resources. The south keep selling its priced oil to survive the whole country, now the world is slowly looking beyond just oil.

I blame the Federal government for the loss of customers .
They should stop wasting efforts trying to lure customers to purchase our oil
They should use JuJu .

Stop hallucinating over the north. All the states in Nigeria, including Lagos State with its bogus IGR, depend on petrodollars from the Niger Delta.

Recent studies have shown that not up to 5 states can run without monthly allocation from the federal government.
