Not too long ago , l presented my substantive view that the Segundo division is not a high quality and competitive league iis largely on the level of the English league one or even less for some teams.

I used Villa Real B, a Segundo division team sitting at 13th position as a loose benchmark to appreciate the low quality.

Villa Real B beat Wolves U21 in a tightly contested match 2-1. I substantiated my view that no PL2 side can compete in the English Championship. And most of not all will struggle in league one.

Recently Wolves U21 played Liverpool FC U21, and got promptly flogged 5-0 .

Quite a few were arguing with me vociferously that most of the PL2 teams will thrive in the Championship. I said a very big NO.

During that debate,I said Liverpool FC are going to play Accrington Stanley from league one, I projected they would beat Liverpool FC U21. Well they did 3-2.

Considering that we seem to be gassing players in the Segundo division and all the backwater leagues of Europe.

Should we also be looking at players in league one in England. After all Aribo came from Charlton athletic in league one, straight to the SE and has been outstanding.

I guess you didn't read the part he said someone told him that their players were betting on their matches and fixing games.
Imagine Hugo Lloris saying something like this, do you think there would have been no investigation? What are you even defending? Are you working for the betting mafia ruining our football? Your take on this matter raises suspicion. Even the club owners have come out in black and white to indicte the league on "match integrity". You think they don't know what they are saying?

Someone told him I guess u don't know the meaning of hearsay.

So because there has not been an investigation everyone is guilty I don't understand the point u are making. U are just crying bloody murder with no proof at all. I mean how ridiculous can u be to say someone smiling at their phone definitely bet on a game? For all we know he was watching Oga Sabinus or brother shaggy.

Anyone who has played team sports had teammates that cried after losses and also had those who just move along with life.

Joe aribi was already in rangers FC when he first played for Nigeria.
In fact he had already played a competitive game for rangers a month before his debut for Nigeria.
Check your facts before you talk.

You call it hearsay when it's coming from a top international player and probably the biggest player to play in your league over the past 20years?

At what point do you start investigating? Probably you want Dauda to personally arrest his said team mates betting on their matches before you're satisfied.

You are talking about his first game.

Check your facts before you make errant assumptions.

Joe Aribo selection to the SE was made well before he played for the SE and or Rangers. The date you actually play a game is not necessarily the date you be were given selection. His selection in its entirety was anchored on his performance for Charlton athletic and in league one.

He already had a premier League offer but chose Rangers.

Players don't get involved in match fixing in Nigeria?
Oya watch this clip involving Remo stars and get back to me. Let me hear your opinion

Oga Barry if we go by watching clips many players would be jailed,so nothing special. My question can Dauda provide evidences than players after matches took to their phones checking betting sites or they are happy after losng matches.

Hope you remember John Fashanu and Bruce Grobellar match fixing scandal.

was playing in league one, had a premier league offer but preferred to move to Scotland where the football is "lower than the championship and equal to league one". Hmmm

Dauda made an indicting comment which the club and the league should have investigated, but nothing was done or heard about it.
The guy called out Enyimba, saying players where fixing games in plain English.
Kadiri Ikhana said same thing after winning the league with Kano Pillars. The man basically said his team won the league via curroption.

Former Ifeanyi Ubah coach, the Japanese man also made a serious allegation about match fixing, nobody even talked about it because curroption is a way of life for the average Nigerian.

But , let me spell it out; this coming election is designed to flush out people with your type of mindset. It's high time Nigerians elect people with integrity and competence to turn around the economy. Going forward, ethnicity nor religion will no longer determine who get elected. The Nigerian youths have woken up and realized how powerful they are.....notor

You are an unrepentant ethnic bigot and I want that label clipped on your forehead.

Whenever I see your tribalistic post I will keep posting it here to alert people of your disgusting nature.

And , yes I am a Peter Obi's supporter and we are going to save Nigeria from snakes like you.

People like you have destroyed this nation with their tribalism, bigotry and wickedness. You will love this country to keep suffering as long as your tribesman is there.

Enough of these primordial ethnic considerations.
