So I just saw videos of the attack on Johnson Suleman’s convoy which was a bloodbath in Auchi , Edo state . RIP to the policemen and others in his convoy who lost their lives in the attack.

I saw a video of his car which is bulletproof and could not be penetrated by the bullets rained on it by his attackers (which obviously is the reason he survived the attack ) . It then got me thinking why did he need so much police escorts when he already drives a bulletproof car and those ones driving ordinary hiluxes (thereby exposing them ) ? …. I mean if the policemen were also in bullet proof cars they would’ve equally survived the attack like he did

I have never liked being in the convoy of security personnel.

I dont like it, and i also see it as more of an exposure to attacks, rather than protection.

One of my friends was killed as far back as 2015. He was driving a Hilux with siren at night. A robbery was going on and as he was approaching the scene, oblivious, they opened fire on him and killed him.

Whoever attacked Suleiman wouldn't have opened fire on those other people if those policemen were not there. Thats the truth. The same happened for Ifeanyi Ubah too.

A bulletproof car or cars is enough for your needs. Carrying a hilux and a bus together, only exposes the other people in it to danger.

Now my fear is even if Suleiman or the FG who is the primary employer of the policemen decide to sponsor the education of the deceaseds’ dependants, they will still miss that fatherly care that the death of their father has caused . It pains me that the deaths were avoidable ; he could’ve just used his bulletproof car alone without any long convoy or better still buy an amoured vehicle for his escorts to ride in.

There’s this guy too that Apostle Tom Samson; he has one tall green church in Ikeja Along bus stop , he uses one stretch hummer limo with other cars in his convoy. You should see him anytime the car wants to make a turn in a narrow road ; the policemen in his convoy will have to come down stop other vehicles and control the traffic for as long as it takes his cheffaur to make a turn. All this makes the policemen lame ducks who are unduly exposed , but I guess they don’t know .

The most annoying part for me was him saying he knows those behind the attacks. So he knew people have been trying to kill him since 2017 he didn’t take any legal action against them, now they’ve succeeded in killing 7 innocent lives around him and he’s still saying he won’t do anything to them . It is not for no good reason. Every governor has a duty to fight for his state when it comes territorial disputes.
It was the then Kogi governor who was incompetent in fighting for his people while Obi did a better job.

We cant achieve so much because there's a limit on what we can budget. An example is education.
