Venezuelans pulling the rug out from under the feet of the West.

According to a Reuters report that cites four sources, representatives of Venezuela's opposition party have told US State Department officials that they will no longer continue to support Guaidó’s parallel government in 2023, even if someone else is appointed as its leader. They instead want to nominate a candidate to face Maduro in an election tentatively set for late 2023 or early 2024.
In 2018, the United States and other Western countries doubted the legitimacy of an election that saw Maduro reelected as the president of Venezuela. The Venezuelan constitution dictates that if a legitimate president is not elected, the National Assembly leader would become the interim president until an election can be held.
That led Guaidó to set up an opposition government that was recognized by the United States. Many of Venezuela’s foreign assets held by the United States were given to the Guaidó government.

However, Guaidó's absentee government has failed to remove Maduro from power. The socialist president still controls the Venezuelan military, domestic assets, intelligence communities, and land. Guaidó holds no  holds no authority politically or institutionally in Venezuela. The term of the National Assembly he was the head of ended in 2020, making the backing from some Western nations his only claim to power.

If Guaidó’s government is absolved, it brings into question what happens to the foreign assets and companies supervised by the Venezuelan National Assembly. US courts recognized their legitimacy on the basis that Guaidó is the legitimate leader of Venezuela. If that justification dissolves, it may open them up to legal issues.

Regardless, Guaidó’s support has been sinking quickly. Earlier this month at the Organization of American States (OAS) summit in Lima, 19 of the 35 member states voted to discuss removing Guaidó’s representation at the OAS. The motion fell short of the 24 votes needed to pass, but only four states supported Guaidó.

Even the Biden administration, which officially still recognizes Guaidó, has shown more willingness to engage with the Maduro government. The administration has sent representatives to Caracas to discuss the easing of sanctions in exchange for elections.

The next three weeks are to be extremely dangerous due to a potential nuclear provocation which Kiev may set up at the West’s instigation, the Lugansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) envoy to Moscow Rodion Miroshnik told TASS on Tuesday.

"That is why the next three weeks will be extremely dangerous in terms of a Western nuclear provocation organized by Kiev. The Democrats’ elections to the [US] Congress and the attempt to isolate Russia on the international stage are at stake," he said.

Miroshnik stressed that at the time the opportunity of accusing Russia of a nuclear provocation was quite beneficial for the US and the UK. According to him, "now is the time for this shoking provocation: radition hazard". "Two weeks left before the elections to the US Congress and three weeks before the G20 meeting in Indonesia," the LPR diplomat explained.

"I don’t exclude that the nuclear elements may already be on the territory controlled by Kiev. With all of these weapons, supplied by the West, it wouldn’t be difficult to smuggle it there," he added.

Kirillov recalled that a dirty bomb usually came in a container with radioactive isotopes and an explosive charge. Upon the charge’s detonation, the container is destroyed and the radioactive substance is dispersed by a shock wave, thus contaminating large swaths of land.

UN at 77: Four Times the World’s International Peace and Security Organization Failed Humanity

Over 370,000 troops from 22 countries including the US, the UK, Canada, Turkey, Australia, and the Philippines fought in Korea under the UN flag, with the three-year conflict claiming three million lives, and leveling 85 percent of North Korea’s infrastructure using more bomb tonnage than was used in the entire Pacific Theater in World War II. After China’s entry into the conflict in late 1950, US President Harry Truman and UN Command chief Douglas MacArthur pondered using nuclear weapons. Fortunately for the world, the situation never escalated to that stage, and in July 1953, an armistice was signed. Moscow learned its lesson, and in the years and decades since, the UN has never again been authorized to intervene directly in a nation-to-nation or regional warzone flying the UN flag.

2) Cambodian Quagmire

The Cambodian Genocide of 1975 and 1979, which saw the extermination of between 1.5 and 2 million people by the ultra-nationalist, ultra-Maoist Pol Pot Khmer Rouge regime, is an embarrassing example of the UN’s capacity for complacency, as well as the cold, calculating realpolitik and its logic of the "enemy of my enemy is my friend."

UN at 77: Four Times the World’s International Peace and Security Organization Failed Humanity

After toppling the previous government in April 1975, the Khmer Rouge inherited Cambodia’s seat at the United Nations. Even as the years wore on and evidence of Pol Pot’s brutality began to mount, particularly after the Vietnamese military intervened to topple Pol Pot in 1978, dogged US and Chinese intransigence at the UN led to a bizarre situation in which the intergovernmental organization continued to recognize the Khmer Rouge government even after it was driven out of Phnom Penh in January 1979.

Under the Cold War logic that anything supported by the Soviets is bad for the West and China, Washington and Beijing kept the Khmer Rouge flag fluttering at the UN’s New York City headquarters throughout the 1980s, ensuring political and economic isolation for the government succeeding Pol Pot’s. In late 1991, a United Nations Transitional Authority on Cambodia was finally established to implement the Paris Peace Accords, which marked a formal end to the Cambodian-Vietnamese War.

3) Libya Chicanery

In March 2011, a NATO-led coalition of warplanes began a 222-day bombing campaign in Libya. Formally tasked with enforcing a United Nations resolution which imposed a no-fly zone over the country amid an increasingly brutal civil conflict, the strikes factually amounted to a foreign-backed military intervention in support of rebel forces seeking to topple the government of long-time Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi.

The campaign succeeded, Gaddafi was overthrown, captured, tortured, sodomized and executed by NATO-backed rebels in October 2011.

How did the US and NATO manage to rope Russia and China into acceding to NATO’s aggression in Libya? In part, it came down to the resolution’s wording, which included talk of an “immediate establishment of a ceasefire and a complete end to violence and all attacks against, and abuses of, civilians.” Russia, China, Brazil, Germany and India all abstained from the vote, with Moscow and Beijing
refusing to use their veto power, which would have blocked the air assault, or at least force NATO to search for another pretext for its aggression.

President Vladimir Putin, who was serving as Russian's prime minister at the time, and whose position did not allow him to call the shots on foreign policy matters, called the resolution “flawed,” and compared it to a “medieval call for a crusade…allowing for the invasion of a sovereign country.” President Putin’s concerns proved correct, and Libya, once the most prosperous and developed country in Africa, was turned into a failed state rife with open-air slave markets and terrorist activities overnight.

Only threat of retribution can prevent Kiev from using 'dirty bomb' — official

As Vladimir Rogov said, the West is taking any liberty it wants in encouraging Vladimir Zelensky’s regime to take any, absolutely crazy actions

A possible scenario where Ukraine uses a "dirty bomb" is close to materializing and only the threat of retribution can stop it, the leader of the movement We are together with Russia, Vladimir Rogov, has said.

"I would estimate the probability of a dirty bomb being used as much higher than average. It is close to being realized," he told TASS on Tuesday.
Rogov believes that it can be prevented only if "a clear message" is driven home: those who may use the bomb will face "fatal" retribution.

Putin has refused to leave this weak excuse about a dirty bomb by Ukraine alone.
Why will Ukraine destroy its own people and land at a time it is taking back territories?
Putin is exactly like putards.

The 2nf most powerful military (before the invasion of Ukraine) has also been reduced to begging for weapons and Instructors from Iranian mullahs.
