A university is a serious place of learning not a party ground. so while students have the freedom they must get out of hand. so for that reason I will support this move on all universities especially during lectures or when on campus.

Universities are not kindergarten school. You are dealing with legal adults, some with their own families. How can you dictate what an adult wear, how he chooses to colour his or her hair or if he puts paint on his own skin.

Punish lecturers who threaten female students with an "F" if they don't have sex with them, go online so that if as a lecturer you can't make it to the classroom you can lecture your students wherever you are and give them assignments which they'll do and submit online.

American and UK universities don't have all these dressing restrictions yet they're among the best and most advanced universities in the world. What's wrong with us the African Continent.

yes u can. As an adult go to ur office and wear flip-flops or leg chain or anything u like. U dress according to where u are at and what is acceptable there. that is part of being an adult. If people think the class is a party place u have to correct that impression and let them know its a place of serious learning.

Universities can enforce certain dress codes of students especially in the lectures hall. U can go outside and still be whatever u want to be bt not within the school.

what I don't support is uniforms except for law students they have more dresscodes than other departments.

obviously ure not locked up in the school u can go out and do as u please bt I think there should be decorum to some extent when ure in school.. It can't be a free pass to be indisciplined or overly carefree.

u are majorly there to learn b4 anything else. That's how u pass through school or it passes through u.

The problem is people who are caged at home see school as an avenue for expressing themselves or falling for peer pressure bt that's not the major thing to learn in school it's about maturing in ur mentality and shaping it intellectually and socially.

Well i was one of those who was caged as the only son, I lost my way but got back on track. The same way NOT everybody will go to HEAVEN.
How about when they travel abroad? Think about that. The Americans should STOP wearing them I leave you with a Nigerian quote. " WHO WAN LOSE GO LOSE"
