The issue here is that Lagos should not let the lepros hand of federal gov touch that place. If possible professionals from abroad mixed with well trained Nigerian personel should run the place, do inspections and give fgn their dues.
If not, fgn will just appoint one aboki as head of the place, our usuall corruption infested customs and all sorts of fgn agencies will turn the place to tin can, apapa ports etc.

Someone prepared the ground for the Lagos free trade zone and made it attractive to investors. There are free trade zones in other states too including Anambra but nobody is going there because their successive governors are nothing but dumbos. One of the dumbos is even aspiring to be president of Nigeria

The next big trade zone will be Kaduna... The state government is investing in it and making it attractive to investors.
