Now I want to extend my company from shooting just weddings, documentaries and tv shows. am about shooting my first movie by august this year and I’ve been accepted into New York film academy for an 8week filmmaking workshop that starts in January. Everyone is advising me to go but mind is not as strong cos of my previous visa denials. Please I need advice from the gurus in the house cos am 33years old and have a Bsc in political science cos I read someone saying that going for masters is your sure bet

I'm currently doing my masters program here in Nigeria which I started since 2020 but due to strikes I'm yet to write my 2nd semester exams.
Now,I plan going for another masters in the United States .
Do I need to mention the fact I started the masters program here?this is because even if I'm able to complete the program,the transcript and results won't be ready for admission.
But I also want to mention the fact that I studied after my first degree.
Also,is it advisable to have some of my lecturers from the master's program write recommendation letter for me?

I was also faced with the same option when I was applying for spring 2023.
So what I did is that, I mentioned my MASTERS degree Programme I’m currently running on my C.V as in view, but all transcript was from my 1st degree.
Importantly, out of the 3 references, 1 was from my first degree and 2 from the masters am currently running, I will advise you that, make sure a Prof write a recommendation letter for you.
Out of the 4schools that I applied to, 3 schools has already given me admission.

YES, I did WES Evaluation and it was among my supporting document.
You can scan and attached the copy of your WES evaluation while you should also pay WES to send it to the school directly.

Not sure I can even point out the reason but the last time I feel may be cos my sponsor was not related to me. Cos I went with the same New York film academy. And I don’t really have enough tie even though I just got married at the time

Please I need your advice, I plan on using my uncle's statement of account for my I20 and subsequently my f1 visa interview but I have been advised against it because he lives in the USA, so now I plan on using a relative statement of account in Canada. Note; Both accounts can cover the required cost. Please what account do you advise I use ??

Yes. The US and Canada share information and have access to each other’s databases. If you neglect to tell them, it can cause you to get a denial from the US which can then trigger a denial from Canada.

1. It doesn't matter in as much as you have been occupied yourself with something relevant like job. Just don't leave The gap of 10 years that you have not been doing anything/progressing. Express your self via your CV and SOP.

2. Yes, it doesn't matter as well. Just make your application strong as much as possible. Find time to read through the thread and Google on how to establish home ties and get good funding and/or statement of account for your I-20 and visa application.

3. It's very fine in as much as you can establish the reason for change of course/field. You want to change a career? Or do you want to learn something new or you just have Passion about it. SOP will do the magic for you to get admission. And when you get to VO, he/she may ask about your previous studies. Be prepared!

4. No crime in trying. If you don't give it a shot, how are you gonna get the visa? I think you can see someone above me with 5 denials, he is planning to reapply. Na who give up Bleep up.

Do you mean University of Alabama Securtiy Background check for all Graduate Assistanstship offer's holders. If yes then, I have submitted mine too.
