Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Lionize: 10:52pm On Oct 30, 2022 |
mankan2k7: Either you open a foreign currency denominated account in any of the banks and get a master debit card on the account. You can use the card. Or Get someone abroad to make the payment for you. |

Omooo I just checked the requirement for the school that offers my desired Masters program. The school fee is 240,000 Kr; 60,000kr to be paid in the first semester. I'd like to know if paying that upfront payment alone can qualify me for a Visa (of course with proof of funds etc). Also, if there's any chance that I might secure a good job (in Sweden) to pay off the remaining fee. I'd appreciate your responses. |

People should be careful applying to Linnaeus university. If you are not able to get resident permit their refund policy seeks to take your money without refunding or paying you a token out of your own tuition paid. I am still having this same issue with them as they don't want to refund me despite that it wasn't my fault that I wasn't granted resident permit. I did not know that Linnaeus is a big fraud until I didn't get resident permit for study and I requested for my refund and they didn't want to pay me saying they will only pay 50%. Who does that if not fraud. |
Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by oluolatunji: 10:46pm On Nov 05, 2022 |
Linnaeus University Sweden is a fraudulent school in corporate body please avoid them. What type of fraud is that. How is it my fault that I was admitted to study at Linnaeus University and was asked to pay before I could apply for resident permit for study. I was giving a deadline of 5th September to register for my course which I did before the deadline. There was no such warning that you claimed no warning that you should not register before migration response. Instead you kept threatening that I will loose my place if I don't register. The school has hidden agenda to defraud innocent international students. So what do you expect me to do as a student. Loose my place automatically without response from migrationsverket when you gave me deadline to register. Other schools in Sweden refunded students tuition once they were denied resident permit even if they attend online lecture. I did not attend any lecture there wasn't any provision for online lectures and yet you don't want to refund. That's fraud. 1 Like |

@oluolatunji, sorry for the issue with Linnaeus. That’s why they have no ranking. It is apparent that they’re up to no good there. To new students coming, have plan B while applying to Sweden. Things have changed. Permits are not easily granted as before. This year, not many were granted. Not because they did something wrong, but Migrationsverket took months to proceed their application and they were either rejected based on late enrolment. Some students were forced to withdraw their application to avoid loosing their tuition payments. Sweden no longer wants immigrants before. On their website, they issued a notice on how students are abusing the student permits. Next year might be worse. So don’t put all your basket in sweden! Goodluck 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mobil567: @mobil567 thank you. Sweden migration rejected so many of us unjustly with one flimsy excuse or another. Application fee gone all the money spent gone unjustly not because we didn't do the right thing or applied late. They just decided to denie many of us like that. The major problem is even the fraudulent school Linnaeus University which is taking our money fraudulently and nothing is being done concerning it. More than $2500 gone like that to fraudulent school Linnaeus. I really need help I can't just loose my hard earned money like that to this fraudulent school. |

oluolatunji: I thought refund policy is 80%. I'll advise you write to Swedish High commission in Abuja. But what was the reason for your permit denial? |
Re: Swedish Admissions And Student Visa by Lionize: 6:40am On Nov 10, 2022 |
Edward9295: Benin Republic? Since it is a French-speaking country (to the best of my knowledge), you may be required to have test of English language as an additional requirement. Use the B.Sc, no even touch that HND for this matter. |

Lionize: Hello, got a question please, I saw somewhere on the website while applying that my school has to use dhl or FedEx to mail my transcript to universityadmissions office in Sweden. Is that correct please? Or do I have to send it via school official email as you've said. 1 Like |
