Explain what the President that will say hell to oil revenue will use to run the economy and build infrastructures without increasing the tax net, ending fuel subsidy and taking loans.

Explain in details and with facts not with emotions and assumptions.

Saying "to hell with oil revenue" isn't abandoning oil exploration, refining and exportation. It is boldly giving the exploitation of other resources top-drawer attention like oil. More importantly, any diversification initiative that comes from the centre (FG) without the involvement of the constituent states governments won't have the expected multiplier effect.

constitution, true federalism, resource control, as the primary solution to the Nigerian quandary.

You're talking plenty.

Okotie's few "high sounding words" captured all the stories you wrote.

Our being in economic crisis has little to do with "constitution, true federalism, resource control". It has so much with fact that we are not producing enough locally to export and earn well to become prosperous. The States which are federating units with their budgets aren't doing much to develop their local economy, which mocks the concept of Federalism. The allocation the state governors get from FAAC and IGR generated are badly managed which mocks the concept of resource control.

The FG and State governments need to invest in agricultural production and food processing, livestock production, fishery, exploitation of minerals, sundry incentives for SMES, etc. to meet local needs and sell to the outside world.

Don't get me wrong, restructuring is good but how about doing that on full stomach rather than empty one.

Stop this high sounding words. What Nigeria needs is a president who will say to hell with oil earnings which by the way is dwindling so fast. A president who will actively diversify the economy in collaboration with state governors who often lack such initiatives. Note that any attempt for any FG to act in silo with its diversification initiatives without state governors like Buhari did will never achieve much.

Nigeria is a country with so much young population and so much agricultural, livestock, marine, mineral, human capital resources and massive entrepreneurship drive but so much unproductivity (joblessness) and waste of resources due lack enabling environment.

Let's produce to dominate West African market and then Africa up to the world stage to earn forex and become prosperous once again. A country with money reinvests in education, infrastructure, health, etc. to become more prosperous.
I am not sure you read what he wrote or you read but didn't understand, he said exactly what will help Nigeria. What Nigeria needs is to trash this rubbish we call constitution, and really start afresh.

Constitution isn't the problem but the parties to the constitution. Constitution can be amended at any time to meet the needs of the time. The problem is that Nigeria doesn't produce enough to earn forex apart from the dwindling oil revenues. No more industries, uncultivated arable lands, archaic livestock rearing system, lack of incentives and enabling environment for SMEs, wasting marine resources, untapped mineral resources, etc has little to do with constitution.

You're very correct and I agree with you.

Your concerns should be based on leadership because, if we had good leaders things wouldn't have been this bad.

Even with the resource control, change in constitution and full practice of true federalism, all these won't make any difference with bad leaders in charge.

If you say the constitution is not part of the problem of Nigeria, then you are not truthful and and part of the problem as well.

Yes, I agree with you. Leadership is key. A thinking leader with vision and roadmap. A leader with political will and firm handling of critical issues. A leader who will be open to ideas and be ready to accept mistakes and make desired amends. A leader who will have a think-tank kitchen cabinet and not wine-drinking cabal. A leader who will sell his ideas to target state governors for multiplier effects. We need a good leader. Yes, we badly do.
