Wike has already cut a deal with Tinubu and co that in order for him to deliver Rivers to them for presidential election, APC has to sacrifice their candidates at the state level of the party.
This is why the state chapter of the APC in Rivers state has been complaining of abandonment by the federal. They are the collateral damage for Tinubu's ambition in Rivers.

I sometimes wonder how Amaechi, in spite of all his experience in politics, still makes kindergarten mistakes in elections. From his spat with Magnus Abe, to having no valid APC candidate in the 2019 general elections, and now to this. If INEC does not observe your primary, it's a futile exercise. He's my best Rivers State governor ever, but his constant silly mistakes in elections is just annoying. He's singlehandedly giving the state over to a man who has never been seen in public!

When Rotimi Amaechi was the governor of Rivers State, I really admired his person, but after leaving office, I realized how politically unproductive and insensitive or unintelligent the man is. How can he be so dumb by making the same mistake twice?

APC also took the PDP to court, guess what, the Judge struck out the case and ruled that a party doesn't have the right to sue another party to court.

Rivers state judiciary is a complete joke.
