Arise TV will end up in court for damages that they will not recover from.
AIT did same in 2015, Raymond Dopkesi had to beg on national TV and newspapers because Bola Tinubu had sued the TV station for billions.

You may need to be fair to Dr. Ruben Abati. He doesn't witch-hunt Tinubu. He clearly gives a balance view on Tinubu. Like it has never been so bad in thehistpry of Nigeria. We witness day by day unprofessionalism in our Media Houses and no one is talking about it. Fake news and clear bias rules the day and worst of it all once there are sanctioned there turn it into another media campaign of blackmail. We really need to build strong institutions to curb these menance, if not fake news will lead to the doom of our beloved Nigeria. For that word bolded, let me state something i believe explains that. These guys (the media houses that churn out fake news) know their target, that is why there are always so quick to spread fake news, and less active in validarion from right sources. We are at a very bad crossroad. These guys are been allowed to get away with it. Fake news spread so quickly and vigorously, but the opposite for validation and apologies. |
