I have worked in almost all those organization. The data come from Nigeria gov. Nobody has the time or the mandate to dispute such data. Whatever Nigeria says - UN/IMF/WB - will take it - otherwise it would cause diplomatic row. Of course if you're investor or lender you have to be extremely careful with such data. Nobody believe anything from a Nigeria - you or your gov. Your have zero credibility. It's just for the laughs. That is why your budget is kenya size and you can only borrow kenya size - South Africa has borrowed 300B dollars...because everyone know their economy is REAL. We exported aircraft to spain : ) We exported ships to Namibnia Go on - we have 65B dollar manufacturing We beat Russia, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Indonesia in Agricluture. GO ON. We are the giant of Africa. We are the Yahoo boys with billions of money Sani Abacha window has and we need you banking details to transfer. What you do is CROSS_REFERENCE/CROSS_ CHECK. You got to Spain or Namibia and ask if they imported anything from Nigeria - leave alone Aircraft parts & ships - and they will say hell NO 68816419: |

rvp20182:@bolded: India, one of the most populous and productive nations in the world, has a budget of US$400 billion, yet Canada, which has a lesser population with smaller economy has a budget of US$430.13 billion, which is more than India. How would you elucidate that? |

Did you include all the India states budget? India at 3.5 trillion GDP I expect India total budget to be somewhere close a trillion all states included. For example, the biggest state budget Uttar Pradesh - is somewhere 70B dollars. That is already twice bigger than poor Nigeria. 68816419: 2 Likes 1 Share |

68816419:Ditto, and India's budget has only been increasing because they have began to formalize. When they were very informal in those days, they still had big economy and manufacturing but way lower revenue streams for the Government. 2 Likes |

Lame excuse. Nigeria is off chart compared to even most informal economy like Burundi or Niger or CAR or SOMALI. That is because GDP is overcooked/overstimated. It completely an outlier.... There is nothing more formal than 65B dollars' worth of manufacturing. That should guarantee lots of taxes - maybe 15-20B dollars. India state budgets is 625B dollars. India federal budget is 400B dollars. Total budget 1 trillion dollars GDP is about 3.5 trillion dollars GeneralDae: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Kenya. Industrial manufacturing is relatively strong in Kenya compared to countries at similar levels of economic development. Growing by an average of 4 percent per year over the past decade, it now accounts for nearly 20 percent of economic activity and provides 12.5 percent of all formal jobs in the economy, about 280,000 jobs. The most striking growth in production rates has occurred in dairy, chemicals, and fabricated metals production, all of which expanded by more than 50 percent between 2010 and 2013.77 Other notable sectors include textiles, pharmaceuticals, furniture, leather goods, and motor vehicles, for which Kenya is the prime supplier to the rapidly urbanizing East African market.78 Investors in Kenyan manufacturing have already benefited from SEZs, where downtime caused by electricity and other power interruptions are significantly less frequent than in other areas of the country. Almost 20 percent of all manufacturing jobs are located in Export Processing Zones GeneralDae: |

Just40:Can you trace the difference? Kenya's worst train station vs ghana best train station. If you have another one, post it. If you don't have one, keep making noise. Your best station is in the middle of a busy town; congested, ugly, and low standard. while our worst is in the middle of a jungle, no one goes there.
