The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years.

......Afterwards, we would start complaining that we don’t get “what we deserve” or cry of marginalization.

What is our Plan B when Peter Obi loses in February 2023? Some people prefer that we should play the Ostrich while Peter Obi toys with the collective destiny of over 60 million Igbos. Yes, you pray that he wins, but what if he fails as he is certain to?

The Bible says that my people perish for lack of knowledge. As the saying goes, only those who Plan can control the future. Ndigbo, wake up and smell the coffee!

What would Zik of Africa or M.I. Okpara do in this circumstance?

Our founding fathers understood that in politics, you don’t get what you deserve but what you bargain/negotiate, and you negotiate with your organization and VOTES. Not social media militancy or bullying (where over 90% of actual voters are not on social media)!

Our fathers built alliances with other major political parties in other regions (not with socio-cultural groups that don’t command any votes), and Ndigbo were in the reckoning in the first and second republics.

After the elections, we will see how many votes any of the leaders of the socio-cultural groups will get for Peter Obi from their wards. Sometimes I even sense a conspiracy to nudge us on a path to nowhere thereby further pushing us into irrelevance, and I pray that I am wrong.

Ndigbo should strategize and bargain especially with the TWO candidates likely to be president on at least four central issues:

A) Lasting peace and security in the South East, including the release and engagement with Nnamdi Kanu.

B)South East Economic transformation agenda and the FGN’s Marshall Plan for the South East as promised since the end of the Civil War (the post war ‘reconstruction’).

We appreciate the Second Niger Bridge and recent contract for MTN to reconstruct the Onitsha-Enugu expressway.

But the rail-lines to the five state capitals, speedy access to the sea, highways linking South East to the North and South South, addressing our existential threat as gully erosion capital of Africa, Free Trade and Export Processing Zones, etc.

C) Restructuring Agenda for Nigeria that devolves powers/resources to the subnational entities and in which it would no longer matter where the President comes from.

D) Levelling the playing field for the unleashing of the private sector and the full participation of Ndigbo in the economic and governance space; etc.

Not seen any active northern politicians take jibes at atiku, same in the west to tinubu despite in different parties and their obvious baggages, they rather face/campaign for their party...

For the first time in Nigeria, the youths notwithstanding their tribes, some called omo-ale and bastardds, who have been fed up about the situation in the country, who are victim of poor governance are standing up and coming together to choose THE LESSER OF THE EVILS but Igbo leaders and politicians from nnamani, ihedioha, nnamani, ekweremadu, ouk to others keep ruining it...

But in future sha, when they come up with their regional party nonsense and wants to gaslight us with marginalisation nonsense and cry victims on never ruling,OGUN WEE KEE ALL OF THEM...

If obi finally loses in 2023 like the Igbo politicians all want,he should just dead his hope and forget abt it...this momentum can never be built again, everyone woulda moved on either by japa and people care less about voting again

No way anybody would ever take any Igbo leader crying about marginalization seriously ever again. The precedent has already been set.

It's also a wake up call to people from the SE. You can't keep lamenting about your misrule and keep entrusting charlatans like OUK, Rochas, Ihedioha, Nnamani etc. With leadership

Can't call other tribes sellout to the North when it be your own ruling class slandering the one credible candidate you have brought out in a very long time

I said it here several days back that Obi's biggest enemies will be from this ruling class. It's telling too that they've accused him of many things but they can't call him a thief. Even Soludo an economist accused Obi of being prudent. Wonders will never end

To conclude, let me once again wish my brother Peter Obi good luck.

He should have fun and enjoy the fleeting frenzy of the moment. But he must moderate the desperation as exhibited by his social media mob. There is a limit to propaganda. A mob action often reflects the character of its leader.

No one has a monopoly of social media violence, and no one should play God. Life won’t end by February/March 2023.

I hope that after February 2023, Peter Obi will return to APGA (the party that made him everything he is politically) as I offered him on 8th March, 2022 and begin the hard work, if he truly wants to be president of Nigeria.

It won’t happen by desperately jumping from one party to another or by unleashing a social media mob on everyone who slightly disagrees with you. I decided to pen my views personally -- again for the records. On this, I don’t mind being a one man minority.

As history beckons, my conscience and sense of duty to my people dictate that I should never be silent. I will happily accept the judgment of history for standing by the truth!

The same Obi you didn't believe performed as governor you're now saying you courted him to be APGA Presidential candidate. So which do we believe now?

You cannot see a man talking from both sides of his ass?

Road network that even his worst haters agree that he fixed during his time na him Soludo dey yarn another thing.

He was not a good governor but you believed he will make a fitting presidential candidate. Which kin hypocrisy be that?

You're not a believer of his chances to win now as an LP candidate so why did you try to recruit him to APGA? What changes by joining APGA? His fugazi support?

He doesn't believe Obi will win fine. Same way 98% of people that play the Powerball lottery don't believe they will win but they still buy a ticket just in case

There isn't one objective thing Soludo said in that article. Whatever unresolved beef he has with Obi let him call him and address him as a man instead of this vajayjay tactics of using "Obidients" who are faceless by the way to speak on how he really feels about Peter Obi.

You are mixing governance with politics and that was clearly separated in that article.

He showed the lapses in Obi's tenure. Thats governance

He wants an Igbo presidency to happen. Thats politics.

He said he asked Obi to join APGA not to win 2023, but to build a force for an Igbo presidency in the future. Its stated clearly in that article. Why are you asking the bolded?

I am yet to see the abomination he said.

Have you ever asked yourself that if Obi loses, what is the fate of the Igbos in regional politics?

During our meeting, I reminded him of my proposal to him to come and contest under APGA. More importantly, I told him (possibly to his surprise) that I did not make the proposal in the belief that he will win in 2023 but that it would give us the opportunity to get our people organized as a bargaining force, with him leading the effort

Have you realized that while obidients are constantly abusing and analyzing Tinubu, they have nothing whatsoever to say about Atiku who has a far longer and more verifiable record as a customs officer and and a VP?

This is actually deliberate. I am really inclined to suspect that Peter obi will drop out for Atiku.

And they are all in on the plan. Why else are they ONLY focused on one of their principals competitors?

I will have a good laugh when/if this happens sha

Organized in what sense? APGA has only ever governed one state which is Anambra? So what rule dictates that this same APGA must be the party to drive this bargaining force.

Since he has appointed himself bargainer in chief. Why isn't he pushing the APGA presidential candidate and marketing him as a driver of this desired change.

So you're saying Obi should have failed under Soludo's backing rather than fail on his own?

Soludo is the opps. Obi knows too that is why he did not get into any involvement with him

Peter Obi's financial success is based on trading. Buy item at n5 and sell somewhere else at n15. You can get very rich doing that and vet rich very very quickly. (in Nigeria ONLY) Unfortunately politics is a much longer game. The success you get from trading within a narrow window, you will not get any narrow window success in politics

That is what Soludo is saying. The gimmicks etal that you can use to throw a quick and fast profit while trading simply will not work in politics.

And Soludo is saying that Peter obi has been in politics long enough to know this.

Already we have videos of LP being caught doing politics the Naija way - with rented crowds and shi shi.

Anyway let us watch and see.

I wonder why they can't do that for a minute.

I’ll collect Obi’s 8years and add to Obiano’s own to make it 16years not because he didn’t perform but I prefer Obiano’s legacies.

Back in the days, Anambra rich men used to flock to Owerri and Enugu to flex… Awka started developing and we had Abakiliki street where many night clubs were built.

Obiano built roads in that area as he heard it brings people to the state….

Go look at Agulu resort that he built, the roads are even more impressive. is it his Awka wonderland park.

Let’s not even talk about the airport, When operational will be the most important infrastructure since the second Niger bridge.

We are complaining about agberos in Lagos, investors fly in.. do their business and don’t even witness these agberos.

They are building Lekki airport abi seaports, these investors will probably not see the agberos again and Lagos will keep moving forward… That’s smart investment

Obi did well in primary health care and Education but some other governors did as well.

Anambra needs a game changing plan, it wasn’t there during Obi’s tenure… it’s also not there yet but we improved
