I recently met a beautiful young lady who has never been married but has a daughter with a guy who isn't taking up much of the responsibility.

I have a good job and can obviously take care of the basics. The issue started from when I started giving her some money randomly not for any particular purpose. She called me recently and said her daughter's school fee is due and how much am I bringing.

In my head, she is not my child so why do you want to push the responsibility on me so fast. If I ask about the dad, she'll say I shouldn't worry because he's irresponsible.

We're not intimate yet because she said no sex before marriage, na that one we still dey fight about.

My question is, is it ok for her to ask me for her child fees just because we're dating or am I supposed to automatically take up the girls upkeep because I'm dating her mother?

You need to make it very clear to her that you are not going to be responsible for her child.
You need to sit her down and talk to her, else she will begin to feel entitled oh.
But wetin carry you go meet single mothers when they are a lot of single ladies out there.
Most single mothers are single for a reason oh and most of them won't tell you the real reason why they are single.

If you want to help contribute to the little girl school fees, do so with a very free mind, but don't make her compel you to do it or anything, if not, she'll start to use your head and use it like dustbin, and before you know it, she will be dumping all her financial challenges on your head expecting you to trash it.

Your case na trouble dey sleep ..yanga go wake am...there are single girls out there u can start life with...u guys sometimes like women that u can get easily....and thats what some these single mothers do so that u can start paying.....
