Innoson Vehicles Delivers Made In Nigeria Vehicles To Sierra Leone Government.

Nigeria indigenous vehicle manufacturing company, Innoson Vehicles has delivered the first set of vehicles manufactured for the Government of Sierra Leone as ordered by the Sierra Leonean Ministry of Defence.

This comes as the fulfilment of a promise made during a working visit to Innoson Vehicles by top hierarchy of the Sierra Leone Defence Ministry led by Mr Edward Soloku, the Minister of Internal Affairs as well as Sierra Leone Road Transport Corporation (SLRTC) led by it's President Mr. Isaac Ken-Green.

The various species of vehicles bought within that dispensation was for the present administration.

Afterwards, the Government of Sierra Leone led by President Julius Maada Bio placed an order for the manufacturing of Innoson Vehicles valued at $4.7Million for the officers of Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF).

The first set of these vehicles has been supplied from Nigeria to Sierra Leone and was discharged at Queen Elizabeth 2 Port (Sierra Leone's sea Port "Water Quay") in Free Town for distribution to military officers across the country.

In one of the many reports in the local media on purchase of the made-in-Nigeria vehicles, a popular blog in Sierra Leone, Focus News Blog, hailed President Bio for believing "that our Army Officers deserve better."

The post, which showed a line-up of the IVM products from Nigeria, informed Sierra Leoneans that the vehicles would soon be "ready for distribution to military officers across the country" by the government.

This development is indeed a step towards the acceleration of intra-African trade as facilitated by the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA).

ARTMA REPORT.

NOVEMBER 22, 2022.

Yesterday, the ARTMA team led by the Managing Director, Engineer Okonkwo Emeka (KONTI) relocated all the Keke riders who used the major road along Borromeo Roundabout, Onitsha. This riders over time have contributed to the gridlock in that area.

All Keke riders are to henceforth use the park while bus/shuttle drivers can drop and pick passengers by the Borromeo bus stop.

The team re-visited the Ogbudike toll gate to impound trucks that violated the ‘NO PARKING’ policy by the expressway.

Several tow trucks were also impounded by the Tarzan axis. Before now, tow trucks park on both sides of the expressway thereby causing terrible gridlocks and accidents.

ARTMA is urging ndi Anambra to continue to obey road signs so as to help the Agency achieve the zero gridlock plan of MR GOVERNOR, especially during the festive period.

When pulled over by our officers, you do not need to resist or bribe them even if you feel you committed no offence. Follow them to the office without worry because videos of your offence MUST be provided by them before you are booked.

Please ensure to collect a receipt for all payments

For complaints, please call 08081953091 or 08144228836.

Soludo has even surpassed every governor that has ever ruled your cursed backward useless worthless shithole imo since 1999.

All the roads in Owerri are dilapidated and Owerri has remained a glorified rural area due to bad governance, and imo indigenes have continued to move to the more developed Anambra cities of Awka and Onitsha to live.

Insecurity has ravaged imo state so much that Uzodinma is now operating from Abuja and visiting imo state twice a week.

Ipob terrorists, kidnappers, agberos, touts, thugs, Armed robbers, etc have taken over the whole of imo state.

Poverty rate in imo state is over 60% and hunger is ravaging the state, that's why millions of imo indigenes are running to Anambra to live.

Statistics shows that there are more imo indigenes living in Onitsha than imo population living in Owerri. Imo state is cursed. cheesy

Poll ranks Obiano as best Anambra governor since 1999

The immediate past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, has been rated as the best chief executive of the state in the past 23 years, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture, trade and investment.

Obiano’s administration was reportedly focused on introducing leadership reforms for optimum social impact, devoid of media fanfare that beclouds the real performance of state governors while they are in office.

In a survey conducted by a financial literacy and content platform, Financial Street (financialstreet.ng), which targeted project funding, impact and scale of investment as well as security of projects, the immediate past governor was credited with excellence in the three areas.

Speaking on Wednesday, in Lagos, while releasing the result of the survey, the Director of Operations at Financial Street, Mr Ifendu Iwenofu, explained that the firm decided to embark on the poll to gauge public perception on government performance and project relevance to the people.

He said researchers from the firm went round the 21 Local Government Areas of Anambra and administered open-ended questions to a random sample size of 1,000 persons in each of the three senatorial districts.

Iwenofu said those targeted were adults of voting age, working class men and women as well as business owners and traders that are/were Anambra residents.

“The researchers also went round four major markets in Lagos State, which are, on the average of 83 per cent, dominated by traders of Anambra extraction,” the operations director said.

He added, “Financial Street decided to pick Anambra as a state of interest among three others that were selected. Similar polls will be conducted in Ekiti and Osun states in January or February 2023.”

Iwenofu disclosed that while 79 per cent of respondents rated Obiano above former governors in the area of agribusiness, 71 per cent and 66 per cent said he performed better than previous administrations in investment/trade and general infrastructure, respectively.

Findings from the poll show that about 61 per cent of respondents rated Dr Chris Ngige as number one in the area of road construction and maintenance, with Peter Obi (who succeeded Ngige) and Obiano scoring 20 per cent and 18 per cent respectively.

A graphical presentation of the poll results shows that the administration of Obi came tops in education with 69 per cent. Dr Chinwoke Mbadinuju scored 51 per cent in security, while Obiano got 38 per cent.

“In rating Obiano high on the three sectors, projects that the respondents easily identified were the signature flyovers, the Anambra International Convention Centre and the Anambra International and Cargo Airport. Those polled recalled the former governor’s exploits in enhancing the Anambra Ricebrand, as his administration introduced the first digital databank for Anambra farmers and active situation room for progress monitoring and evaluation,” Iwenofu stated.

On Ekiti and Osun states, he disclosed, “Financial Street is collaborating with development partners to examine the impact of democratic governance on the socio-economic development of Nigerians.”

He said the essence of conducting the surveys after the administrations had wound up was to allow the respondents exercise ultimate freedom to give unbiased answers.

The platform’s director maintained that eight months after the last administration in Anambra, it was easy to reckon with public recollections and ratings of previous administrations, which he said showed that incremental progress was being recorded as Nigeria’s democracy endures.

“By May 29, 2023, Nigeria’s democracy would have clocked 24 years and we, at Financial Street, believe it would be time to do a practical evaluation of various trends and tendencies in states.

“In Anambra, we were able to analyse the data and found that a world of difference exists between actual performance by governors and what the media celebrate during their tenures.

“The outcome of the poll is interesting, because the former governor was not active on the media. Real public perception about programme relevance and impact can only be gauged after the life of a particular administration,” he noted.

God will help us. I have never seen someone so wicked and selfish. Wrote 27paragraph against the only acceptable Igbo candidate nationwide after the shameful outing in APC and PDP. It is well.

What's your business with Anambra? Imo state has been over run by ipob terrorists and Uzodimma has been operating from Abuja, but you are not worried. All the ipob terrorists threatening the peace of the SE are mostly from imo state. Federal government should declare a state of emergency in imo state to Curb the menace of ipob terrorism

Old man rest na!
