I remember the good old days of Nairaland, when it was full of more sensible and bright minded and funny people with good topics and reasonable interactions. Back then, only sound topics graced the front page. I miss topics and comments from the likes of Oguguwa, Sienna (he always typed in blue fonts), and some other monikers which I can't remember now. Seriously for me Nairaland was fun back in the day. It's so unfortunate that it is no longer what it used to be back then. Now all you see on here are bad news, irrelevant topics or news, tribalism, trolls, sadists and the likes.

My Nairaland moniker will be 10yrs old by December 25, and all these while I've only been banned once.

wow. Nairaland has taught me alot too. I met someone here in Abuja about last year or so, happens that he was a nairalander too. He said his moniker is very popular but refused to disclose it to me . He too expressed disappointment about the tribalism and negative comments here. He said Nairaland is a typical demonstration that Nigeria is not, and has never been united.

The tribal sentiments here has become so disgusting... It all started out as something done out of fun but now, it has developed into a terrible mindset monster for many.
