When it's that brave approach that got you a goal? Anyway what's my own as long as Ghanaian tears are flowing. grin

TheSuperNerd:
He was afraid of sustaining the brave approach.

The 3rd goal really exposes his mistake but now they have a goal back. And from one of the subs.

Anyway, Ghana to still lose. I don talk am.

This Danilo Pereira na full time carpenter
the guy na pure foool

This Portuguese coach I still don’t understand the reason he keeps on playing peirera in defense when he has benfica’s young star Silva and Porto’s pepe in the same team

Even Porto’s David carmo is another but wasn’t picked for this competition

That pereira and neves were Portugal’s worst players today

Good job, Ghana. Friendly match is different from a World Cup competition. The same Ghana lost 4-0 and 4-1 to Brazil and Japan. Let the Super Eagles breathe.

U have millions of Nigerians disappointed that you lost out of the WC and you are giving a shitty performance. At least I can’t even say Ghana we’re lucky now.

Is it just me or Portugal's second goal seemed offside? Why didn't VAR draw the usual line they do?

African teams are yet to score at the ongoing WC. Hopefully that will change soon. I suspect Ghana may break the trend even though they will lose to Portugal.

Cameroun plays first tomorrow but I'm not so confident in them doing so but then, they also could if things click in the final third for them.

Icon79, it seems it is the North African teams who you tagged sissies that are playing the better football and getting decent results among African sides so far.

Up next Tomorrow: Cameroun vs Switzerland AND Ghana vs Portugal.

#Qatar2022DiariesMD

FT: Portugal 3-2 Ghana

3 things I was right about today:

- Didn't trust Cameroun to score Africa's first goal at Qatar 2022 despite them playing first. My mistrust wasn't misplaced. grin

- I felt Ghana would be Africa's first Goal getter at this edition of the mundial and I was right.

- I also knew Ghana would lose. And they have lost.

Respect!!! cool

Uruguay and Korea couldn’t register a shot on target in the entire 90 minutes

I rest my case

Of course, they lost! Guys should let the Super Eagles rest! We could have even equalized if Dennis didn't bring up that drama.

They lost gallantly. Not like our team that would have just bent over.

I don't think anyone argues that. They deserve to be they because they qualified. However, they better win this game because every hatred will be paid back in full.

No oo. I like their midfied. If we had what they have in midfied, we would be in Qatar. That Kudus boy is a nice midfieder, and in the Ghana colours, he is more of a force than Partey

Exactly my point. Addo and Ghana played totally defensive in the first half and it worked in keeping Portugal off the scoreboard but I wasn't impressed.

The moment they finally decided to come out of defence, play ball progressively and truly attack Portugal was ignited by Ronaldo’s penalty goal.

They knew they had to come out and when it got them a goal, Otto Addo perhaps failed to understand the need to build on that momentum. Keep playing with Bravery while you remain resolute in defensive transitions... But Nooooo... the man had other ideas.

Truth is if Ghana can reproduce their second half Performance from after they went down 1-0 then they MAY have a chance of progress but South Korea (their next game) would not be an easy game at all. Those guys play with fearlessness and discipline as well. It is up to Ghana to use their physical advantage synced with an attacking approach to get 3 pts.
