while I do agree with everything you said I should tell you that the fact that you met similar minds on the internet or real life doesn't mean one is or isn't sick. I could just be one shares the same sickness with some other groups of people. There are Nazi, white supremacists, pedophiles, zoophiles etc sites and chatrooms on the internet in fact Telegram app made me realise there's a group for everything and some videos you accidentally see on innocent groups with accompanying links to join them would shock you to the marrow and people are not only joining those groups in droves but I'd also assume they're discussing taboo things there too. Sick people abound and internet can help them meet other sick people and create a community around their sickness which makes them think they're not sick.
