GBAM. Today, we don’t also have defense and GK. It’s that BAD!

Vawulent TRUTH.

Blueelf:
3 Gks have won man of the match for their respective countries at the WC

A good and reliable GK can win you a game

These GKs don't play in Europe

The only thing our GKs know how to do is fine-boy and online cruise. No improvement, nothing

Okay ooo

coming to the trading of commodities a Ghanaian trader will sell his commodity more expensive to you a Nigerian than his country man

And also in business they re not good at it the reason why Nigerian traders in Ghana are making it big time

A Ghanaian trader will buy a commodity for 5 cedis to sell it for 8cedis just yo make extra 3cedis but a Nigerian trader will buy the same commodity but will just add 1 cedis 50 pesewas just to turn over to bring in new goods cheesy

And the worst of it all is that dem no Dey gree mk u bargain their goods oooo. Once them tell u price no going bck cheesy

Na for gh I see say u go wan go buy something around maybe 9pm and the dealer that’s his closing time, even if u meet am for the door of his shop when he is closing for him to sell something to you he will not accept to sell whatever you want to u cus it’s his closing time, rather he will advise you return tomorrow cheesy

cheesy Pple wey be say 8am dem never open shop

I swear those people stvpid and lazy ehn
Comparing them with Nigerians in all ramifications is the heights of insults.
Often times I laugh at Nigerians that hasn’t stayed in Ghana before but praising and hyping Ghana and Ghanaians to high heaven.

The worst part is that they love to act like they're better than Nigerians. There's this unhealthy and unnecessary kind of competitiveness and insecurity whenever they see or hear anything Nigerian. It's crazy.
My brother, what an average Nigerian earns and spends even in Ghana, most Ghana celebrities won’t dare it.
Just this year, the richest young Ghana guy in the area I was residing was staying in a room and parlor self contain and had a small guy and his brothers were always jealous of him.
Why I was staying in a 4 rooms duplex, paying equivalent #100k monthly as rent.
Those people lazy, poor, arrogant, stvpid and everything bad you can think of.
The woman I was buying food items from at the market, whenever I goes to buy from her, she stops selling to fellow Ghanaians because she knew what I would buy from her for just that day, Ghanaians won’t do same for a whole month.

It's a coaching problem.
We have explosive players in the last third of the pitch
but our defence and midfield is not coordinated and disciplined enough to take advantage of it.
Imagine osimhen, chukwueze and Paul onuachu in Ghana, Saudi Arabia or Senegalese teams.
Our coaches don't know how to use our players

Who else saw this thread. Philosophy problem. I totally agree. The coaches themselves no wan leave the mental box of pre-2000s. grin

The secondary school needs revival. 11yrs olds should understand the modern style before academies start swooping. Africa's biggest football brand dey even struggle to pay for a top coach. How did we get here?

That game is truly similar. Musa and geng with back to back attack. This one was less of that game as it was pack the bus and gra gra. That 2014 team played more better than this Ghana team. Just a little more gragra and 3-3 it would have been.

It ALWAYS WORKS

QUALITY gives you consistency and mediocrity gives you INCONSISTENCY.

It's very simple.

There is a reason he is playing in Serbia after playing in Belgium and French first tier.

Your proposition says you follow football with emotive preference not objectivity.
Keshi's tenure is a perfect example, we achieved result sometimes but struggled for consistency

Still early days, broda. Early days. We’re still in the first trimester. Let’s wait until the end of the third trimester to see where we stand.

Having said that, I was quite disappointed with Ghana and to some extent with Senegal as well. Granted that they got burned by the ref (or shall we say by VAR) for the penalty on Cristiano but, all in all, Ghana was the architect of their own demise.

That Portugal team was very beatable but Ghana came out playing with fear and timidity. They didn’t really come out to play until they conceded a goal. I think the Portugal friendly game against Nigeria really did a number on Ghana, because I have never seen a Ghanaian team playing with such timidity and naïveté. The amount of mistakes from Ghanaian players were totally unacceptable at this level. Anyway, let’s hope that they haven’t missed their chance to advance because I don’t see them beating either Uruguay and South Korea if they played this poorly again.

And you can say the same thing about Senegal, to a lesser extent. Yes, the Netherlands is a top top team but Senegal has no business losing that game if not for their careless mistakes. The good news is, I still expect Senegal to qualify but I can’t say the same for Ghana. As for Cameroon, the less said the better.

O pari

TheSuperNerd:
African teams are yet to score at the ongoing WC. Hopefully that will change soon. I suspect Ghana may break the trend even though they will lose to Portugal.

Cameroun plays first tomorrow but I'm not so confident in them doing so but then, they also could if things click in the final third for them.

Meanwhile, The North African teams have played with bonafide purpose and true tactical understanding. Kudos to Tunisia and especially my 2nd Favourite African side, The Atlas Lions of Morocco. Well done lads although 20 y/o Elzzalzouli showed his inexperienced in attacking transitions. Talented but decision making still needs lots of work.

Icon79, it seems it is the North African teams who you tagged sissies that are playing the better football and getting decent results among African sides so far.

Up next Tomorrow: Cameroun vs Switzerland AND Ghana vs Portugal.

O pari

their bravery achieved two things. Made them attack more and also made them more open to attacks. Ghana do not recover fast after attacking which means there would be spaces left for bernado and co to run to. It's not a coincidence Portugal scored two goals came when Ghana went on the attack. If they played in that fashion from the start they would still have lost because while they will definitely create chances they are not that clinical compared to their opponents. It would have been a bigger goalfest
