Kid or not, Ghana must come back home
Mine is not necessarily because of them denying us the opportunity to qualify. It's more like a strange and devious streak: all my years of watching WC, I never support other African countries apart from Nigeria. Then also I never Brazil. I never support them but should Brazil and France meet, I will support Brazil. That French team is not a French team. It is a commonwealth of nations team.

I'm gobsmacked. In 98 we were eliminated by Denmark who did not go beyond the quarter finals after being beaten by Brazil. In 2002, we did not go beyond the first round. In 2010, we did not make it beyond the first round. In 2014, we were eliminated in the second round by France who in turn were ousted in the quarter final. In 2018, we did not make it beyond the first round. So how can you boldly make such a claim at the bolded when it only happened once in 1994?
It appears that you look at our world cup history with fantastic eyes ooo. Our outings are mediocre and consistently poor!
I meant 1994 and 1998.
1994 (The Italians that eliminated us through rugby football and a last minute equalizer only lost the finals on penalties).
We could have won the World cup that year.
1998 (The Brazilians that got to the final were lucky to defeat that same Denmark in one of the best game of the tournament).
Our game against Spain still remains the best game at that tournament.

Consistently poor and mediocre? lol!

Only someone that watched replay or highlight will call SE 1994 World cup performance mediocre!

Victor Osimhen has always been excellent technically and has immense football intelligence that's one of the reasons he is where he is today... and he has worked with and learned from the footballers he has played with both at club level and national team..

That's why he did excellently well at Wolfsburg ❓

Not all that matters but if outsiders are asked to mention the best world cup performance by an African team. Most would pick Ghana(2010), Senegal (2002), Cameroon (1990) before thinking of the super eagles.

Exactly

I think Senegal are doing well. But their problem is still their toothlessness in front of goal. I think they are taking too many touches in the 18. Thank God, penarity, hope it's not overturned.

Really Senegal should have won against Holland, they showed too much respect to the dutch. But anyway, I hope they don't go defensive now. They can beat this Ecuador side 4-0 if they don't go conservative.

He got his wires crossed for the first game yes but at least they have been more positive today. That said, the Senegal players overthink things in the 18, that shouldn't be the coach's fault.

They could be at least 3-0 up if they take their chances. I am not even the biggest fan of their coach but the slander he has received has not been fair.

Senegal might need more bodies in midfield o. Isn't that a foot stamp from the Ecuador guy, the Senegal guy should have milked that situation.

I suspect it might be a parody news setup but even if it was true FIFA has a microchip in all the balls that can sense touch and they have confirmed there was zero response from the ball once it went past Ronaldo's head.

Adidas already did the analysis. It was confirmed CR7 didn't touch the ball.

I will be here to celebrate when Uruguay whoops the ass of those midgets from the Volta region. Ghana should be sent home.

I hope either Senegal or Moroccos make it to the quarter finals.

You actually think Portugal can defeat Nigeria when there is all to play for or when everything is at stake, especial at the world cup?

Which team has ever scored past 2 un-replied goals against Nigeria at the world cup?

94 is not the whole story about our world cup history na. We could have but we did not. End of story. 6 World cup outings, yet our longest run is 2nd round. If that is not consistently mediocre I don't know what to call it.

Our match against Spain was not the best match of France 98 abeg. What of Brazil vs. Holland, what of France v. Croatia or England v Argentina? Even Argentina v. Holland was epic. I watched all these matches live. If you were a Frenchman, you will say that Spain v. Nigeria was better than the final between Brazil and France? Haba Haba, I am a die hard Super Eagles fan but I do not see the team and our history through rose tinted glasses.
