94 is not the whole story about our world cup history na. We could have but we did not. End of story. 6 World cup outings, yet our longest run is 2nd round. If that is not consistently mediocre I don't know what to call it.

Our match against Spain was not the best match of France 98 abeg. What of Brazil vs. Holland, what of France v. Croatia or England v Argentina? Even Argentina v. Holland was epic. I watched all these matches live. If you were a Frenchman, you will say that Spain v. Nigeria was better than the final between Brazil and France? Aliou Cisse has joined the elite group of African coaches in the 2nd round of the WC. Lesson for us, Senegal was patient with him, we need to find one Nigerian coach, support him very well and be patient!!!! Of course being patient doesn't mean we should tolerate corrupt selections.
