There is nothing like curses anywhere especially as a child of God. Once you give your life to Christ, you are a new creature and old things have passed away.

I have a parent who never was there in my growing up until I became successful, he has been cursing me since I became an adult (I no send him papa) and the more he curses, the more I become successful and when people go to tell him how I have been so successful, he claims me at that moment before them. After they leave, he sends more curses. Lol

So OP, nobody can curse you as long as you have God by your side.

Yes oo. Sadly, generational curses don't recognise whether you're born again or not. The bible has said it all in Deut 5:9.

That's why people must pray always....without ceasing. However, you're from a family of believers, thise curses could ha e been broken along the line and you'd not be affected

Yes, a born-again Christian can be affected by past curses and ancestral bondages. The Bible teaches that we are all affected by the sins of our ancestors (Exodus 20:5). However, the good news is that Jesus has given us the power to break free from these bondages through His death and resurrection (Romans 8:1-2). Only African Christians talk about Ancestral curses.

Demons and unclean spirits are spiritual equivalents of microbes such as Bacteria, Virus and other infectious organisms. They infect the Body, Soul or Spirit of a person. The infected is called demonized (not possessed).

Now, demons can be ejected through several routes
1. Spiritual Sanitation:
When a person obeys the Word of God and lives according to the dictates of the Holy spirit. They have created an environment that is NOT conducive to many unclean spirits and thus are delivered.
2. Affirmation of God's Word:
This is an act of faith in which a believer confesses by faith God's promises in the scriptures on him.
3. Direct Command;
A Christian standing in the Authority of Christ and His blood commands demons and unclean spirits out, frustrate their existence in your life in faith and power of the Holy Spirit. This many times is not a once and for all activity. Some demons are stubborn and some may require fasting in addition to directly confronting the demons.
4. Prayer from a Minister:
Sometimes, a Christian may require the fervent prayer of an experienced deliverance Minister (all Christians can actually cast out demons if only they will act in faith)
5. Removal of Items of Demons:
This is more like a physical sanitation. Removal of Occult books, Pornographic materials, Charms, amulets , and anything that connects one to satan.
6. Finally At Salvation:
Some people get totally delivered at the point of their salvation. It is the work of grace.


Demons and Unclean spirits do NOT own anyone. They are like rabid dogs that have stayed in front of a house for so long that they assume ownership.

It takes only holy violence to establish the kingdom of God in a demonized person
