TheGoodJoe:You are deliberately obfuscating the point. I have said it that Deschamps got his tactics wrong. That has been universally acknowledged. Even so much was said about that in the clip I posted. So you are not saying anything different from what most people who watched the match have said. The point of departure is that you said he lacks tactical acumen and that he should go. What that means is that he's not good enough. In effect, he's a bad coach. How? Show it through consistent bad results that he lacks tactical acumen. Show it. |

Mujtahida: I have made my point. In the second half after the equalizer, Deschamps had no clue about how to get the team to fire. That shows how weak his tactical acumen is. 1 Like |

TheGoodJoe:Who is arguing against it that France was poor. Beyond even poor, Deschamps got his tactics wrong but as a good coach, he responded swiftly. Your call for his resignation is unjustified. Simple. |

Odunayaw: Diego Simeone and Mourinho had consistent results but their style dwindled down. That is why I have always hammered about me not being a result man. I am more driven by play and long term performance. 1 Like |

When Deschamp realized things are not working, he brought on Kolo and Thuram. Van Gaal brought on Weghorst and Headmaster (De Jong). And then there is Enrique who will rather stick to aimless passings rather than change tactic. But Deschamp is the one with problem.... ![]() 10 Likes 3 Shares |

Odunayaw: Back to my earlier point. Long term success comes from good development. Spain did not have good results from USA 94 and later ended up winning The Euros twice and the World Cup. They are still a quality side today. 1 Like |
