That coach doesn’t like Dennis lol
Dennis does what’s on his mind, sometimes
doesn’t fall back to defend
I doubt he’d match what he did for Watford last season

Just win and you will be crowned king. All I know is that this thing we watch on TV looking all soft is hard. Varane gassed out. That's how hard it is.

Di Maria was the one putting pressure on the French defense, he kept Kunde busy so that he could not help the attack. But Scaloni made the error of removing him and then Deschamps responded by throwing in Coman. He lost sha and nothing else matters
Nobody thought it’d get to extra time
That’s why he took out 35 year old Di Maria early

IMO, the underperformance of our senior teams (male and female) at the world cup is why some people still doubt our credentials as one of the best football nation in the world..
Also, our clubs have been underperforming of late in continental competitions... .poor investment in sport is limiting us .

On a norm, on a norms, the expectations was that majority of them would be the one running our football by now. Alas, all going to waste, begging for scraps while hexagonal pegs struggle to fit into triangular holes.

miss one world cup, they start to doubt our status as a footballing nation. We may be in a tough spot right now but that shouldn't cause doubt on our status. Thankfully facts don't care about feelings

Correction to some impression about Morocco

Morocco’s success in Qatar 2022 has more to do with the Footballing Education in Western Europe than the narrative of the Moroccan FA “investing in pitches”.

Out of 37 Players and Coaching staff in Morocco’s World Cup Team, 19 were born in Western Europe.

Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou was born in Canada and was formed in ATLETICO MADRID Youth System and we all know their history with GKs. From De Gea to Courtois to Oblak.

It’s clear to see.

Achraf Hakimi was born in Spain. Formed in REAL MADRID Youth System.

Noussair Mazraoui was born in the Netherlands and Formed in the AJAX Youth System.

Sofiane Boufal was born in France. Formed in the ANGERS Youth System.

Sofyan Amrabat was born in the Netherlands . Formed in the UTRECHT Youth System.

Our ties to the UK na like curse.

Comparing what those with ties to France/Spain go on to do with and for their home countries (which are even worse than us) with our diasporas. Ugh. E get as e be

The French practice assimilation system. That should mean their ex-colonies ought to strive to escape their "shit hole" homes and stay there but reverse is the case

Now, look at the craycray UK system where shege is institutionalized against "outsiders". The ex-colonies have cockney accent to show for it only grin

Nerdie's New Ranking Order of the Football GOATs Club.

In my deeply informed Opinion, this is indeed The True Order of the GOATs:

1. Pele: 3 WCs, 7 Ballon Dors, 12 Goals +10 Assists in 14 WC games, 2 Copa Libertadores. - Still the GOAT of GOATs

2. Lionel Messi: 1 WC, 7 Ballon Dors, 13 Goals + 8 Assists in 26 WC games, 4 UCLs.

3. Diego Maradona: 1 WC, 2 Ballon Dors, 8 Goals + 8 Assists in 21 WC games, 1 Uefa Cup.

4. CR7: 5 Ballon Dors, 8 Goals +2 assists in 22 WC games, 5 UCLs.

#Qatar2022DiariesMD

Bonus:
GOAT Candidates in the coming years - Leading the way is undoubtedly Kylian Mbappe. He'll be back for more in 2026. For now, it's back to club football in search of his first UCL.

What was the difference between Mikel and Messi in that tourney, could you tell the difference?

Some even argued that Mikel was the better player. Mikel was just beautiful

If Mikel continued had continued in his natural offensive role what would you think will become of him.

You can’t know the future of most player from age

Because mikel was the best or came second best player at the world youth championship behind Messi doesn’t mean he was destined to be close to messi level ,even messi was a nobody at the 2006 World Cup

There was little or no difference if anything Mikel Obi looked better.

However at age 30 Mikel was no longer able to perform at a high level. They are age mates and Messi still has a few years left at the highest level.

Coming to think of it I'm trying to think of any of our players above 30 that can still perform at the highest level only player who comes to mind is Ighalo.

Etebo is 27 not even 30 yet and he doesn't seem to be in the prime of his football but is rather diminishing.

I really cannot explain this loss of quality form so early in a number of our players.

Ighalo ,balogun nwakaeme did well at their 30
