In 2015 general election, PDP won 3 House of Rep seat and a number of State house of Assembly seat in Lagos. That has never happened prior to 2015, and it happened because of Jonathan factor. Majority of those who voted for Jonathan where Non indigenes and they voted PDP all through. The people who will vote for PO in next year Election will most likely vote LP all through, and they will be the real structure on ground. Me am voting PO for President and any candidates from any Party i believe will serve well at the National Level, then Sanwo-Olu for Governor and any candidates from any Party i believe will serve well at the State Level.

You first said people who will vote LP will most likely vote LP throughout.

But then said you personally will vote LP in presidential election but then vote APC in gubernatorial election, and any other party for the other elections.

Why do you think other people won’t vote like you? This thing is not adding up.

People need to differentiate between what they want to happen, and what is likely to happen.

We voted for Buhari in 2015 because we were tired of Otuo.ke drunkard. The tuwo chewing idiot was there playing with our intelligence concerning our plights and then came 2019 having 2 known useless aspirants- I mean, having two old idiots inform of Atiku and the kunu man, what can we do? In as much as Buhari has deceived us with promise upon promise, atleast he is still better than Atiku.

Atiku digusts me a lot. I can still stomach obi with his lies but Atiku?

It is a case of having to go with lesser idiot. But this time around that we have a proven man , a slowpoke and a thief. Kogi is ready to vote right.

Gbagbe yen egbon izzou, awa o laye werey this time around.

You are always using the word "WE", and that sounds funny to me

Unless you are a party man, or you are benefiting from the system, there is no "WE", IMO

Nigeria's problem is similar. Don't ask what they want to do; just vote.

But then, carry on. I have always known Kogi to be a very underdeveloped place (no offence abeg), but i hope to see it change in my lifetime.

Same Lagos in 2019

Presidential

Buhari - 580,825
Atiku - 448,015

Governorship

Sanwo-Olu - 739,445
Jimi Agbaje - 206,141

Sanwo-Olu was an unknown going against a "veteran customer dada ni" Agbaje yet won with over 500k votes.

This one is visible to the eyes now. I know this since I was 2 years. Everybody knows this and wonder why? Well the case of kogi state is similar to that of Nigeria in general - forced marriage.

Where we have one region thinking Governance is their birthright and successfully turned the state to an eyesore then miraculously, the power changed to the other side and it became worse then we have the last region that have only governed for 3 days or so.

It is a case of forced marriage where everybody votes base on tribe and whoever gets the opportunity chop and clean mouth.

Well, we hope we overcome this soon and get to elect a credible leader based on track records.

Head-to-Head despite the obvious failure of "The White Lion" he's better than Peter Obi when it comes governance.
He has legacy projects to show despite the lean resources and the dangerous situation he met the state on assumption of office.
3 Reference Hospitals across the 3Senatorial districts, several kilometres of roads reconstructed across the state, he tamed ASUU in Kogi State University, initiated Confluence University of Science And Technology, Osara, Omi Rice Mill, presently there's a PPP arrangement to build a Cement plant by Dahiru Mangal company (the name escaped my memory).
He was able to keep bandits and kidnappers at bay by investing in security architecture and recruiting locals as vigilantes alongside hunters to comb the bushes and forest across the entire stretch of the state; this is a state bordering about 10 or so states including the FCT and the 13th largest in terms of landmass, this is a state that almost as big as the entire SE region. He won the best Governor on security, you can verify this claim.
However, his legacy will forever be tainted by the issue of nonpayment/underpayment of salaries which he's partly responsible for. Since 1999 Kogi civil servants have had to deal with poor working conditions with the only exception being the administration of Gov Ibrahim Idris between 2003-2011, during the time of late Prince Audu workers in the state are paid using what they refer to as satanic chart and pensioners were called dead woods.

Ajimobi dealt a big blow to the APC structure in Oyo state and it is still having effect after his death. Maybe if he was still alive, he would have corrected some mistakes.

The structure I am with right now have come out to say they are for Atiku, but the game they are playing is to try all their best not to go against Tinubu because a Tinubu that can walk can have influence in any election in Southwest. It is the truth and I am not shying away from it.

Yet we don't see ruling and opposition candidates winning Election in many States? I don't care what he posted, I gave a narratives of how me i will vote in 2023. From my interaction with friends, colleague, plus with what i read on social media, a lot of Obidients will not be voting for any APC candidates next year. You can't tell an illiterate person either in the South or North to vote two different Party on the same day of election, they will simply thumb print the same Party logo on all Ballot papers and leave. If ballot paper carries pictures of candidate, that would have made it easier for them to vote their choice candidate (if they had any). Lagosians have been electing Tinubu's Party candidates, until 2015 and 2019, cos some Lagos residents who hated Buhari decided to vote for Jonathan and PDP all through. February is near, i am no soothsayer to know who will win but i know most people won't vote any APC candidates and vice versa. I don stop to dey engage Party loyalist since 2019, they will always be biased in favour of their party, regardless of how useless their party has served. The Presidential elections and the Senate comes first

If Obi loses, those people who voted him on that Saturday may likely not come out for the next one.

As for Lagos, all the people that won through PDP, decamped to APC as soon as they got there (maybe almost all)

That is why I see this idea of voting out parties as a joke now. When i lose here, i join the other side
I agree with the bolded, but same way if PO wins, LP will most likely have won Senatorial and House of Reps seats too. Such victory can also encourage people to vote LP Candidates in State Elections too. Oghene and Obasa are still in PDP representing Amuwo Odofin and Ojo at the House of Reps, unless you are talking of Dipo, Hakeem Bello and other PDP candidate who won State House of Assembly seat but later decamp to APC and lost relevance any ways.

Kogi has been a hotbed of criminals for a very long time in the 90s it was highway robbers terrorising motorists plying the federal highway this is due to political thuggery and large expanse of undeveloped land, I have witnessed several crises unfold before my very eyes and escaped death by the will of God. In terms of improvement in security he tried more than his predecessors. I am from Kogi lived most of my life there and I can tell you for a fact that on security he's done well compared to other states.
As for the Covid money there is an isolation centre and some of the equipments bought were vandalised by criminals which lead to the erstwhile Commissioner of Health crying during an interview with reporters, I also mentioned that there are reference hospitals built across the 3 Senatorial districts.
His failure is largely the issue of nonpayment/underpayment of salaries, which is quite a touchy and complex issue. The state and local governments are

operating a joint account and the account was used to obtain a loan which lead to meagre amount left for the state and LGs to operate with. As at 2014-2015 civil servants are paid in percentage, on assumption of office his administration decided to embark on a screening to reduce the overbloated wage bill the screening ended up being a mess, the officials while they paused payments of salaries during the screening they were feeding fat on bailout loans and Paris Refund meant for the affected people. Though those cleared were paid including arrears in some cases but afterwards they were getting paid in percentage due to shortfall in revenue.

So we currently have 8 LP HORs.

So I am going to break down the 8 members. Parties they defected from and I will also state members that have left LP as HORs.

1) Darlington Nwokocha from Abia. Defected from PDP on the 2nd of June 2022.

2) Kpam Sokpo from Benue. Defected from PDP on 2nd of July 2022.

3) Mark Gbillah from Benue. Defected from PDP in July 2022.

4) Herman Hembe from Benue. Defected from APC in June 2022.

5) Daniel Asuoque from Cross River. Defected from PDP in July 2022.

6) Dennis Amandi from Enugu. Defected from PDP in August 2022.

7) Pascal Obi from Imo State. Defected from Action Aliance to APC then to PDP before getting to LP in August 2022.

8 ) Jide Olatunbonsun from Oyo state. Defected from APC in July 2022.

Facts

We have 2 HORs that have Defected to other parties and LP only won 1 seat in 2019. And the HOR has defected to APC.

Now let's look at the HORs that Defected. All of them defected because the couldn't secure a return ticket from their former party. All of them defected after party primary election or around the time and the people of their constituency rejected them.

What is so difficult in understanding the phrase( most likely vote for )? I didn't say they will vote LP definitely, i even gave a narrative of Lagos in 2015 and how i intend to vote next year. Show us result of Rivers, Delta, Kano, Katsina, Bayelsa, Zamfara and many other State. I don't see how that phrase is an issue to be honest, it was an assumption and not definite statement. I agree but seriously how many Market women, bus drivers, artisans really split their votes? How many Almajiri Northerners split their votes? Majority of State have been electing their Party candidates in all positions, leaving nothing for opposition, bar some few States in the SouthWest mostly. People split votes in States like Rivers, Delta, Bayelsa, Kano, Katsina and Many more, but the final results doesn't show it.

I was a party man until 2016, i was part of the staff that organised the 2014 Presidential Party primary Election. On that night at Teslim Balogun Stadium, i made ₦1.3m from people who wanted to enter delegate list my fire by force. I was in Osun State in same 2014 to capture delegate for the Primary Election, i and my colleague met Governor Aregbesola at Government House and all his cabinet members. All Senators and House of Rep members from the State including party people like Adeboye Onigbinde (former Super Eagles Technical Adviser). The Capturing was done at Prince Famodun (APC State Party Chairman's) residence, cos their was war at the Party Secretariat over the State Primary election result outcome. I was in Osogbo for 5 days and the State paid for our hotel and assigned a Prado SUV to us for movement to places like Ede to capture Senator Isiaka Adeleke who could not come to Osogbo, and i made plenty money their too. I am saying this so people who were in Osogbo can confirm some of my Statement or debunk it. It was the same period that Osun State Election Petition Tribunal was to deliver its judgement, so the State was politically tensed. I don make money as a party man, and i have no regret leaving APC....
