While CPC barely won governorship and Senate elections in the entire North

2015 and 2019 Buhari swept most of the North again while governorship and Senate was shared by APC and PDP

These are Northern states with the most illiterates yet able to know the difference between the parties

Hamzat shouldn't have agreed to be Sanwo-Olu deputy though, he should've just bid his time. I'm not sure he will have a shot at the Governorship again.

He will most likely be compensated with Senate seat just like Ambode deputy.

Seyi has not come out because of 2-3 reasons.

1) The Ayu wahala. Ayu must go.

2) You stated it in your post. The structure that brought Seyi in has been dismantled. Some have even left him to Accord party now.

3) After the Presidency election, Tinubu might have time for Oyo State election, and everything will just backfire on Seyi.

But Oyo State PDP have given their support to Atiku. It happened 2 days ago.

Seyi has done a little more than paying salary. One notable thing he did was solving the problem of Lautech, when the opposition was ruling Osun State. I.e. Oyetola. It was not possible when Ajimobi and Aregbe were ruling, and it was not possible when Akala was there.

Another thing to point out is, since the death of Adedibu, no single party wins Ibadan again. Most election decider comes from Ogbomoso and Oke-Ogun.

And about the omo ita (NURTW), there is no how you want to rule from Ibadan and not give them the little regards. The own the street. Most Ibadan indigenes no dey read. They are just lucky that they allowed others from different parts of the state to develop it. (This is my personal observation)
