There are people in Nigeria who earn this but they're not regular people. I know more than six directors working for top firms whose salary fall in this range, and they're paid in Dollars. Also, they work 8-5.

Save a portion of your salary and after a few years, invest it in shares of a business or company. Basically use the savings not to buy car are to go on vacation, instead use it to become a shareholder of a promising company.

Thanks for the enlightenment but no software engineer makes that kind of money in Yankee not to talk of Nigeria. $33k monthly is for major cooperation CEO and not just cloud engineer. $33k monthly put you in top 1% income earner in US and that will put you in 0.00001 income earner in Nigeria.

Ok, let me break it down for you. And FYI, this is what I know 100%, so I am not speculating anything here, just facts! On average, a SWE with 4-5 years experience makes at least $150k+ annually here. Now, multiple that by 3+ remote jobs and tell me what you get in a year. That's in upwards of $450k annually, which is more than $33k monthly.

I heard most US citizens don't have $1k in savings, but they are still better than us with their social security and welfare program. In Nigerian a man with 3 wives would be earning $45 per month when minimum wage in USA is earning that in a day. Google Nigerian minimum wage and convert it to dollars (that is tip money in US restaurant, but here we are expected to feed, cloth and shelter our family with less than $45/month).

I believe you're talking about SWE in US. Thanks for breaking it down but most of your analysis does not add up. A person work 3 full time jobs at the same time is likely not possible cos a job that pays you $150 yearly ain't not joke except such a person is a superman. Second, I have lived 10 years in US to know that American tax system discourage people who make good money from working multiple job cos the second jobs going to be like you're working for IRS cos the tax will almost finish your paycheck but I can be wrong though.
