The spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, has described as ''heartbreaking'' a tweet shared by a Nigerian man expressing his utter hate for men of the Nigeria Police Force.

It all started when Hundeyin reacted to a tweet about a Police officer who got injured by a hit-and-run driver.

Reacting to Hundeyin's post, the Nigerian man with the handle @MrOdanz said he would never help a dying police officer. His post reads;

''If I see a policeman dying by the roadside and needing help, God in heaven knows I will not help. I will jump and pass. I hate you guys. All of you Nigerian policemen. My experience with you guys have left me very bitter. Even you Mr. Ben, I hatenyou. You guys irritate me

"This post is heartbreaking. The cheering in the clmment section is more heartbreaking." Hundeyin wrote with a sad face emoji, in response to MrOdanz's tweet.

However, the Twitter user didn't relent and further said he has never had a good experience with policemen.

Why won't people hate them.. they claim police is ur friend whereas they are the opposite. Instead of protecting the lives and properties of the citizens they are busy destroying the lives and properties. Someone broke into my Bbq shop.
Took my Gas and Generator.
Unfortunately for her. She was accosted by a Police man and woman.
Was invited to the police station to identify my properties.
Was asked to pay before the items will be released to me.
Paid #1500. Had to borrow it sef.

My guy had an accident. Car somersaulted and flipped severally. He was lucky to be alive. In the process of the accident, he damaged 1 streetlight. Police towed the car to the station and arrested him for damage of public property. They didn't take him to the hospital. I personally begged on behalf of the guy cos it was in the evening, the female IPO didn't listen. She wanted bribe. Eventually, the guy paid and we took him to the hospital.

Following week, we went to the LG Secretariat around. They connected us with those in charge and eventually didn't collect a kobo to replace the streetlight, they even commiserated with my friend.

There's this one of my extended family who joined police force & I stopped seeing him since then. It's over 10yrs I last had any form of communication with him infact I avoid him like plaque

NPF are wicked and heartless, if you have a friend in NPF never let him know your house because he will be looking for possible way to put you into trouble so he can extort money from you by setting you up

One guy posted on Nairaland today that he saved this policeman's life in Uyo or was it Calabar. He said he was drunk and fell into a roadside drainage and when he paid 12k for his treatment, he was arrested the next day because the Police man wasn't conscious to explain what happened.

But then he claimed he got refunded his 12k .

A friend of mine got a police job after years of looking for a job, her dad told her he'd disown her if she took it.
