Coz he licked mic, hence he shouldn't be voted? LMFAO!

.... but we should vote in a Trader at this critical point? Someone who is only good at cramming fake figures and lying up and down?
So your president was actually publicly licking the mic? Is he a crawling baby that thinks everything he lays hands on should be put in the mouth?

Joke apart, you no get shame o.

It isn't his fault he is acting that way. It comes with old age. However, wanting to be the president of Nigeria should be a No No.

Make una get shame small and stop defending his embarrassing moments.

.... this is simple. Tell us why we should support your candidate. How does he plan to turn things around?

OK..... BAT is not an Option. What makes Peter Obi an Option. Let me borrow izzou point again, forget the past, let's face the future.

Because Obi excelled monumentally when it came to issues of appropriate usage of State funds.
1. Came in from the corporate sector before becoming a governor.
2. He Met a state heavily in debt and owing it's workers and pensioners. When he left office, no single state worker or pensioner was being owed any salary\pension.

Worked with a well balanced budget. Carrying out various state projects without borrowing a dime! And when I mean projects I mean good projects. Equipping every single school with generator and 2 school buses . 1 laptop per 4 students throughout the state. Etc etc.

3. Significantly cost the cost of governance. Plugged leakages and loopholes in government spending, drastically cut out redundant state positions. Nothing like employing 5 thousand special advisers that we see other governors do .

4. Opened an Anambra state sovereign wealth funds where he used a small percentage of state budget to save and invest in various companies.

5. Did not award himself bogus pensions when leaving office and hasn't received a dime from the state government till date.

6. Left an impressive amount for successive governments and a lower debt burden.

7. Was immediately appointed on the presidential economic team of the Jonathan administration immediately after leaving office.

8. Was appointed the chairman of the Nigerian stock exchange, an appointment he accepted without recieving government amoluments and benefits.

Calling Obi a common trader is just you seriously downgrading and insulting his acumen but I can understand that, you need to try and bring him down to the level of the criminally wanted yellow teeth-stained drug baron you support.

When it comes to who has the best economic experience of the 2. Obi dusts the rest handdown.

Peter Obi is naturally the best choice for President in 2023.

Atiku Abubakar as a Fulani Northerner shouldn't even be in the race for President, when the current one is a Fulani Northerner serving out his 8 year term. Atiku also has a shaddy corrupt history too, as we were told be former President Obasanjo.

APC in addition to destroying the Country, is presenting a sick old Bola Ahmed Tinubu who is medically unfit for President, who also chose another Muslim as his Vice. A Muslim-Muslim ticket in a country where religious intolerance in a big issue is simply unacceptable. Tinubu's past is also shrouded in mystery and he is the embodiment of corruption in Nigeria in my opinion.

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is another Fulani Northerner, a Northerner should not be succeeding President Buhari in 2023....

Omoyele Sowore seem to be using his Presidential Ambition to cash out through Fundraiser. He was accused of embezzling the 2019 fund by his party chairman...

Peter Gregory Obi is the balance, he is a Christian Southerner with a Muslim Northern Vice, a tested and successful administrator who doesn't seem to have a corrupt past, he has publicly stated that people should bring out evidence he stole public money as Governor. He is an open book who boldly tell you to go and verify, he will be Nigeria next President in 2023 In Sha Allah....

As regards ur planned investment , I believe u must have carried out in-depth analysis of the business before going into it sha . Although , I don’t see buying and renting out properties as a good business in Nigeria . Most properties bought for millions of Naira will will not yield close to the cost price even if u rent the property out for 15 years straight . Most people who buy properties to rent out usually end up tying their money down ; money that could be put to better use when one considers time value of money .

I actually do not know much about how profitable the Airbn’b business is in the high brow areas of Lagos tho. Just do enough research and put ur money into it if u are satisfied with ur findings .

I agree with the bolded and it's one of the reasons this thread is created. Obidients turn this thread to what it is today.

They are never ready to engage in any sensible discourse rather they prefer bullying and cussing hell out of everyone not supporting their candidate.

They're the reason I am actively involved this year, because they need to be checked, put back in their holes once in a while.

No one has monopoly of bullying, trolling and cussing!

Dude, you are reputed for skipping any sociopolitical discourse where you can't reply with a copy-and-paste post.

Once it gets right down to intellectually dissecting sociopolitical issues, you flee; unless there's been a response by somebody to it on Facebook and Twitter you can go copy then paste here. Then add mundane phrases like "El Ol El. Mi oni so nkankan" .

Since this thread began 7 months ago, I double-dare you to quote even 5 instances of lengthy intelligent discussions you've had about the elections or any other sociopolitical trend. Just 5. Screw it! Just 3! 3, OasisX!

You are the last person in this section who should grandstand about intelligent debating . The very last.

Nigerians are terrible human beings. My Dad connected me with a Modafucka as trustworthy fellow.

Dude was making 3 videos from different angles and sending it to me as 3 ponds.

Imagine that kinda level of wickedness. I visited the farm while in the country to find out what really happened.

I interviewed people living in the Area, recorded the conversations and played it for the Foól. He's lucky my Dad begs me to forget it and consider it as life experience.

They will never accept the highlight, everything must be blamed on Buhari, even though they know the Conditions GEJ left us.

Don J didn’t support Buhari with sweat and blood in 2014/15 cos he loves Fulanis, but because of GEJ failures across all Sectors.
I have never rated people based on GPA alone or class of degree because GEJ had a PhD and he was a dullard.

Jonathan was great but they put him before Buhari + massive rigging and Dasuki money and he still lost. That same failure Buhari even got another term from Nigerians in spite of all his failures.

I wonder if people know what it means that Buhari got a 2nd term and Jonathan did not.

It was. Do you know what N1.7 trillion was in 2011? Use your calculator and find the USD equivalent at the time.

Don't let people cry wolf with crazy exchange rate. $51M today is about N40 billion naira. One obscure position called NIA had their director General hide such money in 1 of his many houses. The only reason we knew about it was via a whistle-blower. The man even confessed that the money was from proceeds of largesse from Jonathan during the 2015 elections.

Maybe you are trolling the Obidients by supporting BAT, but it is glaring that nothing will change.

Nigeria is at the lowest of its lows; We are spending 91% of our revenue to service gbese. So how will BAT fund all those stuffs on his manifesto?

Let me guess? Don't ask, just believe.

Nigeria is finished, but let us pretend that BAT is coming to do something

To be fair, the Ideal thing to measure is Debt to GDP especially at the national level. Hence the reason why its important what the debt is being used for

Cant speak on this as I do not have all the information. Besides, I highly doubt that story, Probably missing some key elements.

My point was looking at the debt service to revenue wasnt putting it in context .

Although the argument could have been that the servicing cost is becoming increasingly high and additional debt is still being taken to service the deficit. Worse off is that it is being used on recurrent items and unproductive things like managing subsidy.

That I think is the main issue

I've been asking this question and yet to see an appropriate answer other than some nonsense person telling me I'm pro this, pro that. I am not pro anything. I will make up my own mind.

How exactly is Peter Obi proposing to fix this country? I've watched his videos and besides quoting figures and that he is a younger candidate, what else does he have to offer?

Please only concrete answers and not "se you are this, se you are that"?

Edited:
Please add Atiku to the list - What is he offering?

I think you're onto something. I am careful about discussing certain things because I don't even know what is true or not.

Another thing is, debt profile is cumulative. Some of the debt is still from the yesteryears. Someone else has posted here all the hundreds of billions this govt had to pay back to some state governments from allocations owed them from the past administration and prior.

True. Also at 39% ( which is the foreign composition of the debt profile), I dont think its that bad.

Problem has always been how to move away from that monoeconomy and grow the reserves in some other way. I have never really liked the focus on Oil
