If we can’t get irogbulam we should go for crystal palace ozor. Highly rated at palace and tipped to make the leap to the first team by next season

Maybe you should also pay attention, cheesy. I quoted that part of the article for one thing alone. To establish that using FIFA's standard which most probably has an European bias is an issue if you apply it to sub-Saharan Africans. Remember when you complete the scanning you have to measure it against FIFA's standard. Since most European countries make the registration of birth dates compulsory, and have systems such that there's a trail, FIFA's stand would be quite effective for that system. On average it should work for our system, but that uncertainty will be there so that if you deviate slightly you would still be fine. Look at Figure 7 for instance, can you see the uncertainty in age for each grade of fusion? And this is even for the countries that have databases. Granted, my argument is kind of an extra conclusion, but this article and the Malawi article it references indicated that skeletal maturity in Subsaharan Africans is delayed. This is enough to suggest that you better design grade standards specific to Subsaharan Africans. You seem to ignore that a decision on who passes is based on the scan and a grade, and although there's a high correlation amongst the 4 countries sampled, the ages still vary slightly. Besides, that was clearly a question to him, hoping he could provide data that suggest how accurate they are.
2lola:

Kindly read the result of the research this time slowly. The last sentence also highlighted a major diffrence.
The table you posted focused mainly on the variation among race but did not rule out the efficiency of the scan.

not at all. He was decent and average at best. If he was outstanding in Spain and France atleast other clubs in those leagues would hv paid what porto was asking for or retained him in the team
Awaziem was brilliant for Nantes and Leganes

Me and you know these clubs are not big spenders. Much more for a defender. But agenda must agend

Remember this name: Jamiu Musbaudeen Olaide, CM

Central Midfield talent, 2004-born from FC Ebedei now at FC Midtjylland U19. Signed just last month.

He is another we can expect to rise with time at FCM and make his mark in the first team like fellow midfielders, Onyeka and Onyedika did.

Once Onyedika to Club Brugges does pull through, 18 y/o Jamiu is likely the next Naija midfield lad expected to break through the FCM ranks within the next 1-2 seasons. Time will tell.

August 25, 2022, I made this post above....

Now just yesterday, the Lad Jamiu Musbaudeen has been officially unveiled for FCM and has signed a 5 years deal.

Another Naija Midfield talent on the rise from the local front to Europe.

More on Jamiu...

NIGERIAN MIDFIELD TALENT SIGNS NEW FIVE-YEAR DEAL

18-year-old central midfielder Jamiu Musbaudeen, who has a past with fellow Nigerian club FC Ebedei, has signed a new five-year deal.

Jamiu Musbaudeen joined FC Midtjylland this summer, and he has since fought his way into the club's U19 team, which winters in first place in the best Danish youth ranks.

With his physique and willingness to run, the Nigerian midfielder has settled in well on U19 head coach Kenneth Andersen's team, and he is now being rewarded with a new five-year contract.

Sports director Svend Graversen expresses satisfaction with the contract extension:

- From day one, Jamiu has shown great ambition to adapt to life in Denmark and the style of play in Central Jutland. He has taken important steps in his development in six months, and we have seen enough from him that we want to extend the collaboration further. We believe in Jamius' potential, and it is now up to us and him to release and further develop the abilities he possesses, says Svend Graversen.

Responsible for the collaboration with FC Ebedei, Jonas Dal, also expresses great satisfaction at the extension with Jamiu Musbaudeen:

- He rests a lot in himself compared to the fact that he is a young boy who has almost just arrived from Nigeria. He has also received important help from his Nigerian friends, Mark Ugboh and Gabriel Kehinde, who have been in Denmark for a long time.

- It is worth its weight in gold that we have someone who constantly takes over for each other. That is why we are proud and happy that we have now extended the collaboration with Jamiu. We are on the right track with our work in Nigeria, but we can do even better. This is proof that we are doing something right, so this is also a pat on the back for FC Ebedei, says Jonas Dal.

Over the years, a number of talented midfielders have made the trip from FC Ebedei to the heath in central Jutland. Here we can mention Frank Onyeka and Raphael Onyedika, who are currently playing for Brentford in the Premier League and Club Brügge in the Belgian Jupiler League, respectively.

A UNIQUE BALL WINNER

Jamiu Musbaudeen's head coach on the U19 team, Kenneth Andersen, is also impressed by the great Nigerian talent.

- Jamiu has adapted and got used to it very quickly. He has a big impact when he plays, just as he has a good approach to his development. He covers a huge area in the central midfield, and he has a unique ability to win balls with his duel strength, says Kenneth Andersen.

The 18-year-old midfielder must now build further on his game so that he can become a dominant figure in the U19 League, says Kenneth Andersen:

- He has only been with us for half a year, during which he has quietly worked his way closer to the team. Now it is up to Jamiu to conquer a permanent starting place in the U19 team and get our style of play completely under his skin.

Jamiu Musbaudeen is listed for six matches in the U19 League, while he has also played both matches in the reserve team tournament Future Cup in the current season.

The new agreement runs until the end of 2027.

Continue deceiving yourself. That is true on average. Only a minority of actual 17-year-olds would fail the test if it's properly calibrated. Besides by previously, i meant pre-2013. In the last 2 tournaments or so we've been more truthful, thanks in part to the MRI system. And no it's not still accurate. Remember accuracy means they were all under 17. I guarantee you the majority of them were 20 and above cheesy grin.

Because there are huge disparities in bone fusion across races in the first instance. When you then add the impact of malnutrition, limited health care, environmental factors, multi faceted deprivation you can not have a singular aggregate for all races.

As a consequence, a white Caucasian teenage male growing up in the west will not have bone fusion at the same rate of as a Nigerian growing up in multi faceted and causal deprivation.

What does that mean, that bone fusion may occur in general for the White male at 16/17. But possibly much later in the West African male living in multi faceted deprivation maybe even up to 21.

Because the base line data operates on aggregate assumptions when bone fusion should occur. What the MRI tells you unequivocally is when bone fusion has occurred.

However, the age that it should occur has several influencing variables. That's why your assertion is actually probable and cannot be dismissed.

Considering the bold gross misrepresentation in that's just a load of balderdash and codswallop.

Go and look up the word brilliant in the dictionary or have a refresher course in English Language.

He was so outstanding, excellent and exceptional he dropped to the retirement league in Turkey from league one. Nantes and all the other teams in French league one were blind to his excellent performances in it seems. And you are the only one with eyes

When a player is excellent outstanding exceptional and brilliant in a league he gets promoted not DEMOTED .

There's no one here that wasn't disappointed in him when he went to Croatia.

Official: Igoh Ogbu unveiled by Slavia Prague, Good move for the Rising Sweeper CB.

OGBU IS HERE!!! cool

More on 22 y/o Ogbu's Slavia Prague Signing. Nice step-up for the lad.

Extract from Slavia's site:

"I believe that Igoh will be a valid reinforcement for Slavia. Scouting and our analysts did an excellent job. The negotiations were long but fair, I want to thank the player's agents and his former club Lilleström. And I wish Igoh the best of luck," says Slavia sports director Jiří Bílek .

"I feel amazing, I'm happy with the way the club welcomed me, that I could sign here. Every player's dream is to win trophies, to leave behind a legacy in the team you are transferring to. Take away unforgettable memories. I really hope that I will succeed in Slavia. I'm looking forward to the fans, I've seen some matches, like the derby, and I know what a great atmosphere they can create. And I'm really looking forward to meeting my compatriots Peter Olayinka and Moses Usor," says Igoh Ogbu after signing a four-year contract .

"He is a player we have been talking about for a long time, we were already interested in him during the summer transfer window. It really caught our attention, but unfortunately it didn't work out in the summer for many reasons. Our interest continued, we continued to follow him. After long and complicated negotiations, the transfer has now been successful. We are really happy about it, he is the player we were looking for typologically," says Jindřich Trpišovský .

"He is very good at speed, physically, he has a very good head, he is strong in fights. He is an emphatic type of stopper, but he is also equipped with speed, he is able to play in a pair of stoppers and a trio. He has a fighting nature, which of course also includes certain mistakes. But he is a young player we want to work with. He is a little distantly reminiscent of Simon Deli when he started with us, an athletic type, a great fighter. His style is a bit hockey-like, he sacrifices himself for shots. He was very interested in coming to us, in the end we managed to make an agreement with his parent club, for which we are very happy," adds the head of the Slavia substitute.
