I did online transfer of polling units from Abia state to Lagos last year. And it was successful.

My problem now, am back in Abia state and I believed I will stay here till June. I want to really participate on this year election.


I want to know if the online transfer I did has taken effect. I didn't do any biometric capturing and I still have my old PVC

You don't need capturing for transfer, capturing is for those that has never registered at all before. Transfering is done online. A new pvc that makes the old one invalid to use has been produced and taken to where you transferred it to, go to your ward to collect it

You ought to have checked if the online transfer was approved before the closure of the INEC portal.

You also should have checked the local govt in Lagos to see if the PVC arrived there to confirm the transfer approval before relocating back to Abia.

I would suggest you go to your local government in Abia and explain things to them if they can proffer solutions. I think you left it too late
