Note:for legit hustlers and not those who swindled people.

In Nigeria, Yes.
Because 100 million naira is less than $200k.

To me, if you're capable of traveling anywhere you want, anytime, and you can have your needs met at any point with money, you are rich.

I don't know about middle class because it's complicated

and u think 200k dollar is a small Money abi??

more than 60% of Americans don't have up to that amount.

100million whether in naira or any of its equivalent in foreign currency is a huge amount of money.

I know it's not a small money too.
I was just appalled by how our currency has dropped.

Hell with 200k you'll buy a not so comfortable crib in a not so good part in FL or put a DOWN payment for a beach front property In FL keys.

Lol funny you
Except you get a house in the village area of Florida, you won't see a standard house of 200k in Miami.
Stop playing.
You can get in Utah or Connecticut or Philadelphia but not in in FL or Cali,
Stop playing Son

Why do u guys like comparing Nigeria with overseas.

I mentioned the amount in Naira and here we are talking about dollars.

This is what a south African or Kenyans will never do. They value and respect their currencies any day.

I just advice that we should desist from this comparison for the betterment of our country.

I said down payment for a house in fl and I know with 200k you can only get a crib in a not so good neighbourhood. We are saying the same thing bros, I should've rephrased it better. Your blood too dey hot though.

Upper Middle Class. A step above middle class people where you're seen to be comfortable.

Very much on point.
Seem you're about to hit your first N100m and you want to know whether you can be classified as rich or not. grin
Reason you want public opinion to console yourself is simply because your lifestyle doesn't support your new network, and you can't have the lifestyle, lest you plunder the accrued network, hence your only consolation is making it about what you're worth numerically. grin
The truth is,I don't think a figure can be put to this because perception and realities differ, including processes.
A timber seller in an open market with N100m working capital will think he is rich whereas say someone trying to run a structured conglomerate with same as capital base will feel poor and we can't blame he/she for feeling that way.
Bottom line is,you start to classify yourself in any societal hierarchy if and only if your disposable income has grown to such a point where you can have the things rich people are suppose to have without breaking much of a sweat and also when you own and control your time.
This means whatever you've built should be able to run autonomously, while you do other things.
If you don't have these, you're not rich yet ,irrespective of networth.
That's why some traders who are worth more than this your estimate can't be considered as rich because they lack these 2 finalising qualities.
Welcome to the N100m block anyways,no easy feat.

Except you're talking about apartments, trailer parks and fixer uppers, 200k will not buy you anything in FL real estate market.

Are you aware that down payment is 20% of the house you intend to buy. Except for first time home buyers who may pay 6%, I doubt 200k will even be enough as down payment for nice beach front houses in FL which are now in millions.

Ordinary 2bed apartments are now close to a million at the beach fronts. 200k is nothing in real estates around some states in US.
