My brother none of the above, is there any sign to watch out for when gasket is flat? The only part am not so sure of? Btw I use ordinary water not coolant.

If gasket is weak, ur coolant will be evaporating in the engine. So ur coolant will be reducing without any visible leak.
If you have to topup coolant in your radiator frequently without seeing where it is leaking, then most likely your gasket is weak.

Not necessarily. It could also just be a bad radiator.

If radiator is leaking u must see where it is leaking from. It's not magic...ur coolant cannot just disappear.

This is just not true sir. I have had a bad radiator with no visible leaks. I thought the coolant loss was internal to the engine and just kept topping up till a mechanic advised I change the radiator.

Radiator changed and coolant loss stopped. I have to add that the "coolant" in this case was actually water.

How many days do you use the full tank in order to make 85k?

Easyincome24:

This is a good question, I will share from personal view as well as what my fellow e-hailers are doing.

1) I utilize a 4 plug engine car for this business to save cost but if yours is 6 plugs you are not at a disadvantage though.

2) Make sure your engine or other fuel associated parts are in good conditions too, cos some fuel mismanagement may be due to this fact too.

3) Your choice or ride pick matters too , it's not a must to go pick a rider whose destination away from you is 22 minutes yet his real travel time to where such rider book is 15 minutes. I do ensure to add both time it will take to reach rider and their final destination to know if it worths such price before picking. I won't be able to do this if I'm doing higher purchase or rental, desperation makes some people pick even the worst or weirdest trip.

4) Conserving fuel while alone, you don't want to consume your fuel without a trip. Sometimes you can pack at an eatery, chill there buy a soft drink or something that can afford you relaxing in such place till you get a trip. Don't sit in the car with full AC on. Know that you are also consuming the fuel.

5) Peak temperature periods, these hours from 9am - 5pm see most cars being hot internally due to rise in ambient temperature around 27-34 deg in must part. Note that traffic is also with those hours sometimes, I could decide to do few trips within these said periods but diligently hit the road from 6pm-9pm as I will need less AC or sometimes I crave the indulgence of my passenger that I won't be able to on the AC throughout except we hit a traffic cos of high cost of fuel. Most do cooperate while some tyrants ones do complain but we still head on.

I use Honda Accord 2009, full tank @ #169/litre costs me #11,500. With full tank, I make #85k-#95k though I get more than these sometimes when I get tipped by riders. So, let's do the maths.

#85,000-#11,500 = #73,500 (mind you, I sometimes blow free from some long distance when I'm tired or closing for the day. I'm not a full time driver)

Fuel Consumption Ratio : Revenue Ratio

11.5 : 73.5 or 1 : 6.4 (I understand when I'm below this ratio likewise when I'm above it.

If you read my comment well, I stated that I am not a full time driver as I have other things I do. But roughly four-five days as I ensured I detailed all my trips in order to come to this conclusion.

You're not doing an immediate damage na. It's gradually. Your fan may tend to fail sooner than expected. It's now working round the clock as against when needed.

Check online for effects of running your fan direct in a modern car, you'll see for yourself.

I guess it is better to return back to it original state, even thought that was how it was bought.

U weren't diligent enough to look for the leak. If u checked well u did find the leak in the radiator.

Sometimes it's the radiator cap that is letting out the hot liquid but if u r using coolant, u will see ur coolant crystalizing at and around the cover of the radiator.

Lets not argue this one, u don't need to be a scientist or technician to know matter cannot be destroyed. If u put water inside a closed system without overheating and ur water is reducing, then it is either leaking or turning to steam.
The leak can come from a number of places, so in ur case where a change in radiator stopped the reduction in coolant it means it's the radiator that was leaking, or evaporating the water. simple as that.

If you can, fine. But be prepared as if there are faults the mechanics used that to avoid, once you return to default, it will prop up. How long it has been run direct also matters. If it has been for too long, probability that your Engine is already dieing may be high and changing the system abruptly my trigger some issues.

You can imagine the effects of the write up below on your Engine over time

There's an Uber inspection center along that axis too. Just immediately after the right turning to Anthony Village Road, the sign is outside there, close to Arcview investment company.
