BeatriceM1: Hello, I'm sorry I do not think I have the right answers to this question. There's no one size fits all. Questions are based on the roles being interviewed for. |
Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by richmondefosa(m): 7:34pm On Jan 14, 2023 |
Missbee99: There's no training school on the island. Training school is the Blue Academy at Ikeja. |

BeatriceM1: Depends on your experience They might offer you either BTA 1 (203k) BTA 2( 254k) Mind you stanbic pension (SIPML) is way better than the bank (SIBL) CSO role isnt easy, get ready to work. You go log applications tire. All the best 1 Like |

richmondefosa: My boss. I appreciate you for all you do......na you sopose be face of stanbic because you dey pull talents for them. I know a bunch of guys that got in through your post here....you be legend boss We don already connect for somewhere. My advice to anybody that wants to get into stanbic, forget the the graduate trainee route except you be guru. Check the websites for roles that require 0-2 yrs experience (you will always see them) Currently stanbic are recruiting for the graduate trainee and those roles too. but may folks are focused on the graduate trainee 5 Likes 1 Share |

richmondefosa: Please are they taking experienced hire? I'm an ET presently in a different commercial bank |
Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by Guava: 10:41am On Jan 17, 2023 |
BeatriceM1: Hi! How did you apply for the experienced hire position please? I'd like to do so as well |
Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by richmondefosa(m): 10:48am On Jan 17, 2023 |
Guava: Yes they do. Someone from here joined stanbic. She was an ET in Zenith. She joined as an experienced hire and her take-home is 389k with ABO grade. Check Stanbic IBTC Bank career page. They're a couple of vacancies there with 0-2 years experience. For those who cannot join the graduate trainee program maybe due to age or class of degree, those are the entries you should be targeting. You can join stanbic with a 2.2 class of degree via experienced hire. You can join stanbic if you're over 26 years without any banking experience. These restrictions are strictly on their graduate trainee route. Stay positive and shoot in those applications. Your congratulations is near. I'm eager for you to join us in the blue family. |
Re: Your Thoughts On Nigerian Banks Salaries 2021 by richmondefosa(m): 10:55am On Jan 17, 2023 |
Guava: Please check out the careers page of Stanbic IBTC. Currently, there are vacancies for the role of client service officer (Customer service), Personal Banker (for those who have passion for sales), Franchise Collections, etc. Edit your CV to suit the role and apply for as many you think you're qualified for. Shoot in those applications. I can tell you as a matter of fact that this is one of the best places to work in Nigeria. It exposes you to international best practices. |
