Good day house, pls my hubby renewed his passport last yr Sep and he was told it will come out this January, he visited London and decided to go to embassy to ask, but he was told till March that was the date that was written on the bottom paper he was given. he was shocked, bc he wants to travel for his dad burial around Feb. pls is it possible for him to travel with expired passport? he has his indefinite leave residence card. pls kindly advice what is the best option to take. Thank you. |

dupyshoo:Barclays can also do 90% LTV, but you should have stayed in the UK for three years and be on a work visa (or similar visa that has long term residency). Moneybox has a free brokerage service. You can chat them up and they will advise you based on your situation. 7 Likes 2 Shares

I know this was discussed here late last year. The consensus was ... such a person should bone up and travel In doing so, (s)he must go along with - expired 9ja passport - 9ja embassy slip (confirming capturing) - ILR card Based on further posting, (s)he should also print the status from the NIS passport tracking site. PS: I do not have first hand experience of this. Lexusgs430:[Extract from article] “You have to show that you are a Nigerian, that is why we say they can come with their expired passport. Dual citizenship means carrying two passports. The whole essence is that when they arrive, they must renew their Nigeria passport before going back,” the NIS spokesman added. Send me an email pls. I might know someone who can help depending on a few factors. crestedandrew@yahoo.com post=120166820]Good evening Seniors, Is there anyone here who can accommodate me and my wife for 7 days in Manchester. I'll be landing Manchester on Jan 31st. P.S: I just need this accommodation for this period of time as we plan to embark on aggressive house hunting once we touch down Manchester. I don't mind paying something little for the gesture. [/quote] |

Good day senior citizen, please I will be arriving UK on the 30 of January with my family by God grace, and we have plenty luggage, we have our short rent at North Yorkshire and we shall be landing at Heathrow airport,is there a mode of transportation which can be more easier to train, please your suggestion is highly recommended. |
Re: Living In The Uk-life Of An Immigrant (part 2) by Nobody: 6:48am On Jan 23, 2023 |
taif: Bus/coach is best if you have lots of luggage, especially if the train trip has changes. You really don't want to be hauling luggage up and down platforms to catch trains that have just a few minutes change time - especially with the current cancellations and delays. Bus will be cramped but you'll have rest of mind. Once you don enter you don enter be that. Even if there's a change or two it'll never be as rushed and liable to mistiming as trains. |
