Many Nigerians believe that once you have money, you can get kids by IVF or at worst you fly your wife abroad for a quality IVF and she will return with a bouncing baby lol



If it was that easy, many rich couple abroad wouldn't end up childless after several trials.

Who even told them every one is bent on having kids? I am almost 26 and I don't even feel enthusiastic about having a child/children. Will these kids eat stones? Little wonder we have a lot of depressed and ill-challenged kids causing atrocities in the city. I mean, these kids weren't planned for. Also, options for fertility have improved such as surrogacy, artificial inseminations, adoption, and IVF. The way these guys yap about "age 30" like it's a plague makes me shudder.

By all means, please ensure you are ready to be a parent in all ramifications before you birth one. It's one thing to be a biological parent, and it's another to be a parent through and true.

Lol. I thought the lives of their sisters and mothers are so perfect. Hence the obsession with women on an anonymous forum that they know nothing of. One told me his sisters married between 26-32. The truth is, Nigeria as a nation is in total disarray due to successive criminal leaders that introduced and institutionalized corruption and criminality which is now causing havoc in almost every sector of Nigeria, including family life.



Guys now marry late due to increased poverty as a result of underemployment and unemployment, so who will marry the ladies; ghost? Maybe until we as a nation agree to legalize polygamy without minding the religious doctrines, but with a clause that only men with certain level of income or financial status should marry more than one wife, I don't see the trend of late marriage amongst males and females going down anytime soon.

Polygamy is very well allowed in Nigeria. I don’t know any many that has been sent to jail for marrying two wives. If men want to marry numerous women, they can. However, many prefer to be married to one with 4 side chicks. And the ladies too would rather be side chicks than second wives. This is changing as I am beginning to see ladies marry rich ancestors.
