This game though was always going to be a day 1 buy for me. The dead space franchise, well the first 2, came out in a very specific period of my life which I look back on very fondly.

Dead Space 2 in particular remains one of the best games Ive ever played, launching in 2011, which might have been the best year of my life .
I like to pretend DS3 never happened.

Other than that, your approach is a very sound one. These games drop in value so fast, the sensible thing to do is wait. I no get sense though🤣🤣
