Time for bankers and bank security to start forming Demi gods with super powers.

Obi is coming to rearrange and liberate this country. All these rubbish will stop by Feb 25 when Obi has been declared president

I think politicians are hoarding these new notes for vote buying because if the CBN are saying they're pumping out new cash for circulation and the Banks are saying they aren't getting any...then the New notes are definitely being moved somewhere elseundecided

They are creating desperation for the new cash now..to convince people later during the election to sell them their votesangry

IT'S SIMPLE MATHS GUYS

This is what I have been saying but some fools are still arguing nonsense. This policy won't affect the political class. They'll always have their ways around it. Na the masses go still suffer am. The same political class have since hijacked the new notes through the back door using bank managers and very senior bank staffs.

You're very correct! See below what I said in previous threads...

Honestly, I just laugh when I see people on this forum claim that new Naira notes will stop vote buying by Tinubu, Atiku and the big politicians.

It simply shows that it's either they are just plain ignorant or grossly unexposed to the lifestyle and activities of the rich and wealthy in this country.

I can assure them that anybody who has over N100 million up to billions in cash with an account or accounts in any bank in Nigeria or has stake to such value in those banks will have direct access to new notes before you and I.

I speak from experience, having worked directly and at different times, with 2 different multi-billionaires in Lagos during my days of paid employment.

And these multi-billionaires are just businessmen, not top politicians like Tinubu and Atiku who know not just businessmen, but have Governors and Senators at their beck and call.

Will banks collect old naira on 31/1/2023
Yes. Anything after that, OYO. So, you got to deposit before bank closes...the reason people are hurrying is because no time ⌚ again. The queue on that day won't be here....and if you no sabi enter bank 🏦 before they close, then your cash will be rendered useless.

Am curiously waiting for Sunday. What will people offer in church? People that have just a couple of new notes will not want to relinquish it…. Lollll

I have been using new notes since last week to buy fuel, pay for stuff, and give offerings in church. Church may collect the old naira notes, but they have direct access to bankers who will collect it from them. They won't queue like us.

All of these because some wicked politicians have hidden cash at home. I prefer to suffer Naira scarcity for 3weeks and enjoy good govt for 8years. If the CBN cracks under these blackmails, Nigerians will suffer for life
You’re a very sensible dude, simply deposit your old money, just withdraw whatever you need to buy petty things, resort to funds transfer from your account.
The goal is to mop up excess cash that otherwise would have circulated this Feb, partly subsidizing the present inflation and weakens vote buying

I stand with Buhari on this; Naira Redesign and Electoral Reforms, we’ll understand the value of these things after he’s gone
