As an aside. The white boy is also a doc. Was in UK, now in canada. His sister (the large one) is in Australia. In fact both his sisters are in Australia. The other guy - the short garrulous charmer of women is also in Canada selling weed (he used to be in British American tobacco)

Uche. I met some dude from ife during my IT in 99 and was casually asking about him. I did not understand why the guy froze and hardened up. Maybe a month later I read about the murders in the newspaper. Uche wild small but I never thought he would go that far

We had all planned on going to ife. Maybe that is how we would all have been blended.

You still haven't got my point.
Tinubu hasn't granted any debate, just prepared speech written by some scholars in d field and this has raised an eyebrow about his mental strength..

Speaking with multitudes, he derailed and said something gilberish like bu la ba.

Opposition:This is d confirmation that this man has mental issue

Medical experts: Although there are signs of dementia and Parkinson we still need more evidence in a non-written speech.

Supporters: on your mandate we stand..madness or not..u must be d president.

The poor and illiterates:Wetin concern me,as long as 5k ball out I go put my hand there cos vote no dey count.

The fencist: Although he has achievement in d past,a debate or interview can help out but all of Dem na dsame.

In reality,he is going to govern everyone in d country...
Had I know cannot solve any problem or vacuum created as a result.

Tinubu is a first class graduate (atleast according to credentials submitted)..A formal debate will turn this around and people will understand d health and wellness part..

We can assume d but la ba... gagalex and many more as "swag" according to his defendant d other day...

If he doesn't care about what d people he wants to lead thinks, then will it a make a good leader....is he afraid to pronounce his dementia in a debate?

I think u still haven't got my position

Debate is not the only way to convince voters and Tinubu has decided on the one he wants
This debate we are talking only ponders to certain elites

For debates to be meaningful means
1. you have electricity to watch,
2. you have TV to watch,
3. you are really interested in watching debate over the other programs on at that time.
4. You watch and can understand the economic and political issues being discussed
5. You are undecided or neutral enough to be convinced to switch your current choice

Without any of these 5, the debates are completely useless.

Largely its a waste of time which is why debate winners of previous exercises didn't make any dent in the main election

That's why OBJ won in 1999 despite avoiding debates, Jonathan won in 2011 despite avoiding debates, Buhari won in 2015 despite avoiding debates

I think in 2019, Atiku came for a debate and left when he didn't see Buhari he refused to debate the other contestants

The current governor of Arizona refused to debate her opponent in the November elections and she won

That is in a country where many people have access to electricity and TV

Sylvester was actually an acting prefect. The strange thing was he was removed for blocking the greed of the then headboy (the serial bedwetter) and collector of extra shares. Not because of character defects per se.

Up next - bulk cash transfer apps. This is the opportunity the aspiring developers have been looking for. Develop a mass fund transfer app and sell to politicians. 50n per transaction as your operating cost.

On this, I thought transfers are regulated by the bank one has an account with, can a SW beat around that especially with CBN regulations?

If loan apps and mass sms apps can make it round regulations I am sure a mass transfer app would too.esp as regulations in Nigeria are more suggestion than regulation

One of my friends too that lived around Bariga that time he wanted to attend Ife too and even when one of those brothers you mentioned earlier got admission earlier, he came home and told my friend that don't worry once you enter Ife I will link you up with guys who will protect you..

Fortunately my friend couldn't get admission into Ife he went to UI and that thing pain am that time but looking back maybe he would have been caught in their cult mess that time

His own parents no come get money they would have used to fly him abroad like they did for many of the guys caught then

Some Ls are blessings in disguise. You won't know until later. Look at Buhari. If he had lost in 2015 he would probably have stopped running, Nigeria would mostly be in the same shit it is now and everyone on this thread would be reminiscing on how Buhari would have saved Nigeria. The leader we never had. Instead the man is going down in infamy as our most Uselss president ever. How you can give Nigerians triple slap one month to elections and expect to be remembered fondly?

The thing that happened was that around March 1999 the guys were driving to school and one random student overtook them they felt dissed and chased him to Mozambique hall car park and started beating him. The guy fled into Awo Hall but one of the cultists an outsider from FUTA didn't know as Awo Hall be so he chased the boy into Awo Hall and was arrested by students. He led the Awo boys to to town where they caught the other boys

Including all those you mentioned. They brought them to Awo led by SUG sec Gen Afrika for maximum beating and paraded them naked. They seized regalias and machine guns from them. I knew some of those guys Biggie Kester I.k. Larry and his elder brother etc

They handed these guys over to police. A week later school was closed due to riots.

When we resumed back in June 99, the boys have all been released and the national decided to teach Ife a lesson. Which they came for on July 99. The date the National Kegites were having their yearly jamboree

I don't know the extent to which the local Ife axe guys were involved in the planning.

Some of them might have been just being in the car that was overtaken in March might be their only involvement which altered their lives forever. Led to fleeing the country, some can never return for life, some who cannot flee have gone to hide in villages and changed their identity or just enter Togo or Cotonou

After the July hit many axe guys were killed e.g one jambite Ikhile who just blended a few weeks before. He got admission in January and the whole yawa in July. 6months later. He probably wasn't even involved in the planning as he was too junior his crime was jamming the guys who came to hit at the car park and hailing his men. Then went to sleep following morning some people noticed that he hailed the men who did the hit. Ikhile was arrested around 9am and by noon dem don off am during torture.

All the cult guys quickly left Ife. Those not fortunate to leave quickly were killed.

It was Efosa Idahosa who quickly decided to cooperate and help as a witness that was spared after serious beating

Some of these guys were just as wrong places at wrong time and some just by association. They probably didn't pull the trigger

The first ten minutes of the movie Goodfellas tells you all about why boys join cult. Also the last two minutes. Because you want to oppress and intimidate. It gets to your head. All this because some guys felt too big to be overtaken.

On the Osun election tribunal judgement, it appears INEC is not anywhere near conducting a credible and fair election. Reading through the minority judgment, so it happened that there are BVAS report was presented to the court ; the BVAS report and the synchronised BVAS report both with varying inconsistencies. It was claimed the first one was issued not long after the conclusion of the election while both parties were getting ready for the tribunal, while the second one was issued after synchronisation had been done by INEC.

One thing is u can spend billions buying technology, but if the people driving the technology are either crooks, dumbos or fifth columnists, then u and the technology are still 4cked!

One would be naive to think rigging wasn't attempted by both Oyetola and Adeleke in their respective strongholds.I just hope in the higher courts the judges will do better and consider all facts and evenidences before them and decide whether there should be rerun election in those affected polling units or the initial cancellation of results is fine.
If you go through the court judgement, You will know that both confirmed over voting. In order words, Both agreed that either the INEC officials were dumb enough to allow people without BVAS accreditation to vote( I remember a video showing people voting at 9pm in EDE. PDP initially released poll results showed over voting for them)
Or
They rigged by over voting and underestimated the power of BVAS.

Over voting -This was agreed by all parties so let us simply ignore it.

Cancelled centres- This is were problem started. PDP wanted certain centers cancelled and others left because in this "others" centres, there were long queue of people meaning that some people who came early had to more late when BVAS was offline.
APC however, wanted all centres with overvoting cancelled. Win for APC

The Tribunal followed due process according to the amended 2022 Electoral Act.
There should be no complain

Now, there should be a rerun in those areas. However, I don't see any judgment papers saying this.
This is the only "issue " in this beautiful and fair.

I used quotes because I also saw a letter claiming that the court found Adeleke guilty of forgery which renders his candidacy thanks and void(see Diri vs APC).
That doesn't stop the rerun but that is where mathematics comes in. PDP has already/ or will be excluded from the rerun. Now no party ( if they garner all the registered votes in the affected areas can beat APC tally if APC was to get only 0 votes. So the rerun will be a formality

The BVAS report was used as it should be and neither of the parties faulted it( to the best of my knowledge).

The only thing Adeleke will appeal is the number of centres to be canceled and his forgery.

This is a big win for the judiciary
Attached below is a copy of the judgement making rounds in the media

Link to Adeleke's forensic examiner confirming over voting

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-west/571964-osun-governorship-forensic-expert-testifies-for-adeleke.html

The screenshot from Premium times shows the actual case that makes a rerun impossible

Both parties were found guilty of overvoting in their strongholds and they deducted the overage from both just that PDP had more overage so more got deducted from Adeleke

I'm still refusing to believe that the washed-up Notes being paraded around were for real from bank ATMs and distributed by CBN. The notes being counterfeited as fast as they've been is most likely insider job, we need adults running this country once again. Buhari and his love for mediocrity has destroyed this country.

The VC belonged to a cult which I suspect is Ogboni the Yoruba elite cult group because he always wore white even white suit

The VC had a running battle with the SUG all through his tenure. Legacy the SUG election was fraught with massive irregularities which I described one time like that but thinking about it
Why will a VC want to do that killing? If he had problems with any student he can easily expel them. Just before that killing, the school authority had asked all students to submit a letter of undertaking to their HOD that any involvement in disrupting academic activity would be met with expulsion

There was a panel of inquiry and they didn't find the VC to have sponsored the cultists

But I cannot say for certain it just doesn't make sense to me

APC is the party in charge of the economy and would shoulder the blame for the poor handling of the Naira redesign and fuel scarcity. That will fall on all APC candidate over the country

This is Kano governor and Senators asking Buhari to move his proposed visit to the state based on security concerns about the Naira redenomination and you think this is about Tinubu

https://www.nairaland.com/7544665/ganduje-asks-buhari-suspend-kano

Banks are beefing up security in anticipation of riots when the deadline expires

You mean people will turn against APC candidates just as how they did against Jonathan in 2015?

Is that the fear of Tinubu?

Either way, Buhari is working against Tinubu winning the elections.
